Choosing gang members didn't have much to do with the story though. As far as the story goes for GTA:SA, it was better than VCS, but wasn't the best.

I thought the SA storyline was fine, VC was better, but I had more fun with SA, its large map, all the cars, trucks, planes, bike's even tho the bike's w'ernt the best for stunting, they did provide lot's of fun combined with the large cityscape's and country side.

Look, the storyline dosen't make sense period. If Vic had a sick brother the Military has assistance programs he would have been eligible for. Most of the missions were either reactionary or Vic was simply manipulated to do something. Only when it came to Martinez did it seem like revenge(to me). I know they weren't all that popular, but I (IMO) think that R* could have explored either Phil Cassidy's or Umberto Robina's earlier years. Considering they showed up later in the series. Shit, I would have been happy playing as Ken Rosenberg or Fernando Martinez.

As I said before, Vic has no dignity. He does not fight for what he believes is right, and despite the fact that he has a sick brother, the only ones that are benefiting from Vic and Lances crusade are themselves. A story about gluttony, and general unhappiness.
