Looks rubbish to be honest. Grip? Bleh....

Should have stuck with what made Most Wanted so good.

Didn't say the game was good, just the smoke effects
Grip races are alright. Drifting sucks tbh

Those graphics are pretty blah. You can read a license plate clearly? Obviously a vast improvement on previous titles.

Well, maxed out, it runs faster than carbon on medium settings.
EA really needs to step it up on the NFS series.

Also what's CoV stand for? Too lazy to look it up...

I hooked up my PC to my HDTV and played San Andreas in 720p. Pretty cool.

widescreen gameing is cool to a point, but the only thing that annoys me is it will stretch the hud, because the game was originally made for 4:3 resolutions :/ I'm gonna continue using my 19" CRT for those type of games. but later when I get a HDTV it will be just for games that has widescreen supported resolutions where the hud isn't stretched. Just my take on it.

Werd. I was just seeing what it would be like to play a PC game on a 32 inch monitor. It's pretty cool having to actually use your peripheral vision. Only downside is you need like 16x AA to get rid of all the aliasing, which my video card doesn't support.

at 1280x768 Yea I can see why, but I'm gonna make sure to get a HDTV that supports 1680x1050 for PC games

You'll need a 1080p TV then. If you're going to be using it as your PC monitor, you won't have to worry about getting a larger TV (less than 32 inches would be fine) but just know that a 1080p HDTV is a waste of money at that size if you're watching regular TV or Blu-Ray movies or whatever on it. For one, all HD programming right now is in 1080i, and you only see a major difference between 720p and 1080p games/movies at the 42" plus level.

well it will be used for TV and Playing PC games mostly, and I was only gonna get a 20 - 25" size for my bedroom (can't afford bigger anyway), so you think 720P is all I need at that size ? my 8800 card does do 16X AA and 16X AF so I guess its not a issue for me.

Uhh... I think so. For some reason the game seems to hit a 30 fps limit during races, which is fine with me. It rarely dips below that (or I'm too busy racing to look in the corner)

This score should be instant win:

This is 'Light Damage'
