I have to agree, with pretty much all of this. R* did a great job making the world feel not just alive, but lived-in. It's not a perfect world. There's construction. The roads are potholed and poorly paved in a lot of areas. There's graffiti and the houses are run down in the projects. It feels like it's a world you're visiting that was there long before you showed up and will be there after you leave, and doesn't care if you live or die. It's great.
