Hell no, Ezio Trilogy is the top lining for Assassins Creed, a lot of people hated Revelations at first, but damn, once time passed, the complaints sort of drifted away (AC3 certainly helped with that), I mean, one complaint was that Ezio in this game was over powered, ...well duh, he's an old man who's been training as an assassin most of his life, of course he's going to be able to pick off basic guards with pure ease. The only downside to Reveleations was the modern day stuff (Except Chapter 4, the night club scene) and Chapter 7 in Ezio's story, that damn Island/cave was just annoying!
