Yes, I can actually say here, Max Payne 3 will support 2k Textures and they'll even be applied to the smallest things to ensure everything looks as good as it can. For a comparison, GTA IV on PC was 16GB, the textures on are mainly 1k for City details and 512x512 for nearly everything else when on high, 2k Textures on GTA IV was only used for Loading Screen Artwork and Background Art.
This has been done to take advantage of Higher End Graphic Cards which have larger amounts of VRAM (2GB+).
Oh damn, actually, Max Payne 3 confirmed to be two discs on Xbox 360, story is split up!
