GOOD GOD JAY, not this, AT ALL. It's one of the most pivotal endings of a film ever in my opinion. He finds out what everything is all about, not just the monolith. He becomes a greater Dave, he becomes the person that can but does not understand everything. I think that the scene where he sees himself in different stages represents that he has a connection with the monolith, I think he knows what the monolith stands for. I think that the part with HAL 9000 isn't really useful for the plot of the whole movie, even though it was very entertaining.
Anyways, the last movie I've seen is Brothers.
I think it was quite an emotional film. I first liked Spiderman's character but hated him towards the end, it was completely different for that gay Cowboy. The children acted very good IMO, especially the older one.
