The official GTA:IV easteregg topic. V2.0

The Official Easteregg & Reference topic V2.0!

Ok as you guys know the other topic was getting long, you guys were posting away in the topic the first post was getting way too long and hard to update.
So this topic is of course dedicated to all the easter eggs and references in GTA IV, for example if you find a reference from another game, or a reference to something in real life, or just an easter egg post it here and discuss it in this thread, all things found will like my other topic, be posted as they are found.
By the way you can refer the origional topic by going here

The List
If any are repeated, let me know so I can remove them.

1. Heart of Liberty City
If you go to the statue of happieness, you will find an underworld enterence, if you enter a certain door there, you will go into a room that is a beating heart, also called the heart of the city, the door you enter says "No hidden content this way"
found by MyNameIsRamone

2. GTA 3 pager music
one of the ringtones for your first phone is the pager music from GTA3.
found by jwrebholz

3. Origional GTA theme
Some of the pedestrian phones play the original GTA theme.

4. Love Fist Reference
In the second part of the city, one of the signs read "**** Starring Love Fist", Love fist stared on Vice cities V-Rock.

5. Bulllworth Acamedy reference
If you watch the TV show "I'm Rich" they briefly show Bullworth Academy from Bully/Canis Canem Edit. There is Also quite a bit of San Andreas footage as well as footage from Red Dead Revolver can be seen on TV too.
These three eastereggs were found by Nikolai & Part of the Bullworth Reference was added on by Jimmy_86

6. Vinewood
There's some celebrity radio talk show that if you listen to you can here celeberaties refer to vinewood, vinewood was the spin-off to holywood in San Andreas. Also the laundromat right across the street from your first safehouse is called Vinewood Laundromat, and the second time Roman texts you about taxi side-missions the text says that he's tired of ferrying around 80 year old Vice City residents and that you can take a couple if you want.
Some references found by Clayton

7. GTA main characters
In the first mission you do for Dwayne, when Niko sits down, there is graffiti in the background. Written there is things like "R.I.P, We will miss you." also, you see "Claude" written there. Claude is GTA 3's main character.
found by n00bpwner
Also (Found by Eli )
It also says things like never forget and "Tommy" along with "Victor" and the names of other persons you've played with in a GTA game.

But In the wall with all the past GTAs paintings there's more to it. I went to it and looked at it for a long time and actually "explored it". The pic that atdray posted has just a small bit of painting, but if you go there you will see that near El Burro(the fat guy in white shirt with the belly out :p) there's many small pictures of people from past games and many actually seem to be from the Top Down Grand Theft Autos. If you keep going right you'll see Misti from GTA III and a red helicopter which was on a box art of one of the GTAs.

If you go to the wall facing north you'll again see the pics from El Burro, Misti and farther west you'll see a red motorcycle(which I think was also in one of the box arts) and one of the "twins" from Vice City.

If you go to the wall facing south you'll see a garage door reading something like "Only paint with permission- -Weekdays- Crew(or something) - - Weekends 12 Until (can't read).

I cracked up at the "science of crime" commercial on the radio....It really is funny how CSI has multiple locations with basically the same plots (still a damn good show) The ringtone was even funnier because it's the end of that "The Who" song they play in the beginning credits of CSI New york....GTA satires are some of the best out there...

19. Giant rooster
If you go to the screamer, next to it there's a mini golf, if you go near its entrance you'll see the rooster that appeared in a small village in the desert near Las Venturas.

It's not only the giant cock from San Andreas on the mini golf course, there's also the Ganton towers (not teepees) from LS and a SA countryside style windmill thing. And then there's the Vice City lighthouse which has "Firefly Island" written down the side as well as the Ocean View Hotel from VC.

20. Blox Homage
Noticed this at the Burger Shot inside Memory Lanes. If you look under the counter against the wall, you'll see a tub of Blox. If you don't remember, Blox is a disinfectant advertised on Vice City radio.

21. Cops on crooks
If you go to the LCPD station with the Annihilator helicopter (East coast of Algonquin, up north - next to a gas station) and then go inside the door that leads to the helipad, you go up one (maybe 2?) flights of stairs and there are 3 cops standing round some guy lying on the ground. Appears that they beat him or something, and if you remember in San Andreas if you entered the back of the Los Santos police station you would see a cop beating up a ped.

If you go to any Cluckin' Bell and walk around you'll see a crystal box with a toy with a chicken-head helmet in it. The box reads as follows:

If you go to West Dyke in Alderny City and follow the main dirt raod leading out to the ocean and a jetty (an assination mission takes place here) you'll notice a PED doing Yoga or Kung-fu or something on top of a hill while looking out into the ocean.
These two were found by Fry.

There is also a ped doing the same thing on a giant rock looking out into the ocean in West Dyke, a view through the scope of a sniper provides a closer look. A fly by in a helicopter too close will "spook" him like it would other pedestrians and in attempt to flee he will ultimately fall off the rock to his death.

Go to your phonebook, select Jacob and select "Guns", go to his location, buy weapons or armor if you want to and then hit L1, he'll close the trunk, but if you try to steal the car you won't be able to. Niko just tries opening the door but doesn't break the crystal down.
basically you can cause damage to it, it's just that you're not able to steal it, you can also kill Little Jacob without losing Like %. He'll afterwards call you to pick him up at the hospital.

An indestructible vehicle would be the TUG(the big rusty boat) you can randomly find at several places. even shooting at it with RPG's will not cause it to blow up.

44. Car manufacturers spin-off
On the left rear bumper of the Blista Compact you'll see a label, just under the left taillamp, saying "INVARIBLE VALVE TIMING", a play on Honda's much-ballyhooed VTEC variable-valve timing system.
Both the Dukes and Ruiner share the manufacturer "IMPONTE". If you aren't paying close attention it's easy to mis-read it as "IMPOTENT".
Many of the cars in-game have their engine sizes emblazoned somewhere on the car--mostly the muscle cars. The Dukes, for example, proclaims it has a 550CI Supercharged engine under the hood (look on the fender, just ahead of the doors). The Blista Compact claims a fuel-injected L4 (right rear). The Bobcat is sporting a honking V10 (front fenders). The Vigero and Feltzer both proclaim V8 power lurks under their hoods in various places (the Vigero on the rear end, the Feltzer on the front fenders)
the Dukes car is a kinda obvious reference to the Dukes of Hazzard, it's the same '69 Charger they use.

46. Haunted Stroller

We're not even sure if this really qualifies as an "Easter egg" per se, but it's always in the same place and it's creepy as hell, so in it goes. You can find this stroller abandoned on a sandy hillside just southwest of Francis International Airport, and while it looks like just another piece of garbage cluttering up the game world, it's actually a lot more ominous than that.

Think about it: have you ever seen a kid in a GTA game? No, you haven't. In fact, with the exception of Louise's baby in Vice City Stories (who doesn't count, because she only shows up in cutscenes) and a few radio bits, there's never even been evidence of kids in the GTA world.

Or there wasn't until we saw this stroller, anyway, which sits alone, parked on a hillside in more or less pristine condition, with no parents or baby in sight. Just a rusted-out car and some big, dangerous-looking rocks. If you stop to think about it, this one lonely object tells a whole sordid story.

Eerie, huh? Remind us to go back there on a dark, moonless night sometime.

Postred by ChandlerBing

This is most likely a reference to children of men. A book and movie in which the human population has lost the ability to have babies. Anyway on the books cover is a picture of a lonely unused baby stroller and in the movie a similar style of baby stroller is seen in one shot of the movie, sitting there looking old and used. As we all know there are no kids in GTA just like children.

47. Mastibating Statue

On the Random Character Brian 2nd encounter, he talking about the drugs he just bought and calls it a boulder, then he says to Niko "You know that movie where that guy's on a mountain getting chased by that giant boulder?" Niko says "No."
This is refering the classic Indiana Jones scene of running from the boulder.

51. King Kong reference
When visiting the Rotterdam Tower (Empire State Building) with Brucie, he says "If I was that big chimp, I'd climb it too! My arms probably aren't as big but who cares."
It's gotta be a King Kong reference.

52. Craplist sexual humour
If you go to craplist on the internet in GTA 4 and look at the personals you will see one for a guy that is living with a doll and he says things like "I am still open to dating real women if they could accept me for who I am". Obviously a joke that the real him is a bit odd, he also goes on to describe how he plays with his doll online. Anyway, I think this is a reference to this documentary that was aired on TV a while ago. It's a documentary about guys who live with realdolls. Or life size sex toys and are using them as a stand in for a real women. It's called guys and their dolls. A bit odd this one.

Maybe it hasn't been mentioned before or maybe it has but isn't craplist a spoof on where they have the same type of information and links as GTA 4's craplist?

example: Seymour Fani
It says see more fanny, basically Rockstar is having fun with the way things are spelled.
