I really hope it stays in Liberty City only

I am rooting for only a city and not a state. I think they'd be able to accomplish more if it's one concentrated environment. As much as I love SA, the world felt like it did have a lot of empty space. With a first next gen GTA, I'd prefer R* starting out with a bang and improving upon one location, with nature and non city environments surrounding it.

Actually it is liberty city, theres countless threads about this. Also, GTA 3 and GTA 4 are so far apart its not even funny. There completely different games. 2001<<<<<< 2007

It IS Liberty City in the trailer, that much has been pretty much confirmed by everything in the trailer.

Statue of Liberty should be seen from Liberty City, technically, due to its location.

Times Square lookalike.

About as bad as saying any of the previous titles were the locations they were mimicking to a large extent.

Actually watch the trailer.

Are you on crack? Theres a cp car that says LCPD or Liberty City Police Department, theres a Liberty train line, a liberty Ferry, a Liberty city newspaper ad. Just give up, its not in NYC. Theres nothing that says NYC anywhere. Its not true crime.

Who cares? This thread is about only wanting one city. It being Liberty or not is irrelevant to this topic! Learn to read.

Roger Explosion 03-30-2007 12:20 AM

^It says Liberty City on the boat. Dude, you're fighting a lost cause.

Edit To Fat Man Jim

---

If it does stay in LC, then it will be much bigger, and more detailed. They won't take a step back from SA.

Its kinda hard to debate the thread topic when this guy is denying it exists. :P

He's an idiot, so he should be excluded from the discussion anyways.

Fat Man Jim 03-30-2007 12:25 AM

SORRY I DIDN'T PAY SUCH ATTENTION TO THE BOAT NAME
