Voice actors for Michael, Trevor and Franklin

Michaels voice actor was figured out to be Ned Luke after the first trailer, however Franklin and Trevor havent really been officially confirmed until now. Franklin is voiced by Shawn Fonteno, Trevor by Steven Ogg.

Their appearances to the game characters, not so much Franklin, are almost identical.

Any news on Jimmy's/others VA?

Danny Tamberelli plays as Jimmy. Again, big resemblance with the character. Theres a few been added to GTA Vs IMDB but not all are there yet.

I've been wondering about the voice acting cast.

Do you guys like the ps2 era with well known actors voicing or current gen?

I like the new cast. I didn't mind the "famous" casts of VC and SA, but honestly, I couldn't tell who was who until I read the liner notes in the physical packaging. Once I figured it out, I was like, "hey -- that's neat... James Woods!"

But what I learned from the various next-gen games (especially TBOGT) was that the script, voice acting, and voice directing were far more important than the big-name actors. You need good actors, but immediately-recognizable big-name voices aren't important. Having an interesting voice, coupled with the ability to render dialog well, are very important.

And let's face it -- since these games are becoming more important culturally, the characters who we play will become famous on-their-own -- without needing older-than-the-hills Hollywood talent to showcase them. Personally? I prefer giving a break to some new blood.

P.S. EXCEPT in the case of Agent 47 -- who can ONLY EVER be played by David Bateson.

I agree good voicing is all that's needed.

Not famous people. I did like candy suxx huh huh.

Gone are the days when R* would put the credits in the little book that game inside the game case. I cant' view the credits until I finish the game either. But the voice acting is pretty good. Michael's voice sounds a bit weird at times and he is one crazy dude. When Ned Luke screams he sounds like Ray Liotta aka Tommy Vercetti. Franklin reminds me of CJ at times.
