New update? and mods

GTAgaming posted that rockstar updated GTA. I was wondering about the new update. I have the in game trainer mod. Do I need to take that out before updating, or will it be okay to leave it in. I haven't been modding for very long and I'm not sure how it works. I'm afraid to start my game lol.

You don't need to take it out, but the mod won't work anymore because the Script Hook stopped working with the new update (and an update probably won't happen very soon)

Yeah any mods that are based upon Aru's scripthook (including any .net hook mod) are rendered absolutely useless, and from what I heard, it won't be updated any time soon because Rockstar decided to give in to the whinging MP players, but apparently decided that they would prevent hooking in SP too.

One thing's for sure, if this is not circumvented, I won't be buying any DLC whenever they become available on PC.

I refuse to pay money for a vanilla game, that only offers me a few missions.

This sucks. We can still mod the cars, but have no way to load them up quickly... bleh.

Looks like were going to have to start modifying the executable the way you explained it sjaak327
