Share your GTA IV videos

With the release of the in-game video editor, making your own videos in GTA IV is easier than ever, and pretty much everybody can do it now (granted your game actually runs!) So I figured it's time to start a thread for all the user-made videos. I'll start us off with a small test I did of the feature:

I call it... Hardcore!

Watch in high quality

It's best to view it in the high quality mode, I guess Rockstar didn't really optimize quality for YouTube :P

You are the only person I know of who managed to get the video editor thing to work :p

claud3 12-05-2008 09:26 AM

nice for a first go. It just shows how easy the vid-editor is to use

The Commander 12-05-2008 09:40 AM

lol, at least you can get it to work to be able to post them. :D

The thread should be called,

Share your "buggy" GTA IV videos

Untill the patch is out. JK

The video editor runs way faster than the game itself. I am still uploading my video, I'll edit when it's done.

Ash_735 12-05-2008 03:19 PM

Haha, Lao Boy that's great, when Niko looks straight at the camera I just laughed. I like the look of these, when I get the game working properly I wanna give this a go.

claud3 12-05-2008 03:22 PM

nice Lao Boy. It was funny when niko looked at the camera

Slim Trashman 12-05-2008 03:26 PM

Hahaha, nice Lao. Definitely look forward to giving this a go. Eventually would love to re-create the trailers (BROTHA WHERE ART THOU?!)

All of those were awesome, guys! Question for you, though, Mr. Eli. For the slow motion did you have to put those in as separate clips? Because I couldn't find a way to make it slow down between markers, it was always changing the speed of the entire clip. Just wondering if I didn't find it or if you did indeed use multiple clips.

Thundercracker 12-05-2008 05:42 PM

If you change the speed of a marker, all the subsequent markers' speed also change unless you change the speed of the subsequent marker, so you at first it is

100% 100% 100%,
You change the second to 15, it's
100% 15% 15%
If you change the third one again it's:
100% 15% 100%

All on one clip.
