claud3 04-07-2008 04:39 PM

almostrodney 04-07-2008 04:41 PM

they took the fact you could listen to mp3s while walking around out, why?

Gotadime 04-07-2008 04:42 PM

Thanks for updating us. Why would they take the MP3 thing out?

Yeah really,That was a pretty requested feature...my guess is so that the soundtrack does'nt get old as fast?...who knows.

Ash_735 04-07-2008 04:56 PM

Nice of them to correct themselves like that.

Yeah, but if they didn't, how reliable would we view them to be in the future? They were saving their own asses, while helping inform us just a little better.

almostrodney 04-07-2008 05:02 PM

hmmm, its been asked but can anyone actuly come up with a good reason why they did take it out :s

Ash_735 04-07-2008 05:09 PM

In an interview with Sam Houser, roughly, he said that they have created 18 Radio Stations worth of music that match the feeling and setting of Liberty City down to the bone, they want people to experience the game the way they intended and felt that custom soundtracks would take away from the feeling of driving around the city whilst specially picked out music to match the setting is played to get you to feel like you are there.

If your on Xbox 360, Cant you just listen to your own music anyway? Who needs an ingame MP3 player?

almostrodney 04-07-2008 05:23 PM

ok, but then again you could just go on xbox dashboard and then play it from there, :s

EGM always has a little section for previous corrections, it's normal. They correct themselves on something in almost every issue.

As for taking out the cell phone mp3 thing, meh. I don't think I'd use that too often anyways, not a big deal.
