Installation Question

Hello all, this is my first post on these forums :)

This is probably not the best first impression I can give, but I need help. I read somewhere that its good to have another, clean, unmodded install of Vice City to play Multi Theft Auto with, and things like that. Since my current version has Ultimate Vice City on it, which can't be turned on/off in VCMM, I wanted to do this. But, it asks me if I want to remove Vice City when I run setup...

So, how can I install VC again? There must be a way to bypass the uninstall question. Can anyone walk me through it? :)

i would also like to know about this. It may be handled by fiddling with regestry files but i don't know.

Uninstalling it isn't so bad, you just reinstall it again from the CD's.

Make a new VC folder with all the files from your UVC mod, then go to some websites with backups of a clean files of VC, the copy them over yor other folder with your UVC mod. This might take a while but that's one way you could to it.

Neil: I don't want to uninstall the game, that's my point :) What I want to do is have ANOTHER installation on the hard drive. I can't seem to do that because the install program asks me if I want to UNinstall VC instead of asking me if I want to install it again.
