I'm seeing some complaints about the layout, it's not going to remain like this. We are going to fix in throughout the day.
Thanks.
That's quite some good news, I was afraid I was stuck in some alternate reality.
The only thing I don't like it how the text that shows the amount of posts, registration date, infoline etc is bigger than usual. Other than that, sgreat :)

I don't like how it blocks off the bottom, the Alert, Rep, Quote, etc buttons.
The underlines were bad before, but now it just looks rubbish, like everything is screaming out LOOK HERE! And the Underline bug still exists for Usernames.

Again, no one individual actually did that. The theme was automatically changed during the update since it was pretty heavily modified before. Be patient.
thanks for the info slim, I wondered too cause the theme we had was much better than this

I think we all learned a valuable lesson here. Upload the forum and skin it BEFORE making it public. You don't even have to transfer everything over first (like posts, threads etc). Just upload the test forum, make the necessary changes so that you have the code in order, and then do what you gotta do. From what I see, nobody bothered to do that.

Um, no that's not how it's done. It's not like we installed another forum and switched them. The forum was literally updated and custom codes had to be reverted otherwise it's possible the database could get wiped or severely messed up. The skin was never changed by choce. Shawn had done a lot of custom coding previously. The problem with the way styles and themes are set up is too general so that's why yesterday there we so many gradients, because several portions of the layout use a single CSS style.
Just be patient, it's honestly a non-issue.
Should have left it alone mate.

Jay, the updated forums will bring a lot of new features to the website and the forums with time. The layout change was an unexpected side effect, and unfortunately nobody backed up the customized layout. I'm not able to change it, I just don't understand the ways of vBulletin... it's up to Kwanza and Shawn to fix it.
