Try assasins creed. Yeah, sure it is the buggiest game I have played in recent memory, it was still fun.

Call of Duty 4, multiplayer is insanely fun.

If you have 360, I recommend Call of Duty 4 or BioShock.
If you have PS3, I recommend Uncharted - Drake's Fortune.
If you just have a PC, I recommend Crysis or BioShock.

BioShock for my pc is a Lame Crap, because I need to have 512MB of vid memory, right?

A good graphics card would work, as well as a high total memory open. Don't play it if you have 10 or something other big games on your computer.

128 MB is the minimum requirement.

Ok, thanks.
I have Bioshock. I have a 512MB ATI. It does work but it lags like such a bitch its insane.
Really? A 3850HD or what's it called? Or something else 1900 or W/E
If that's what you have, CPU and RAM also please, i want to see how ATI compares to Nvidia
AMD Athlon Dual Core processor 4800+ 2.51GHz
2GB RAM.
ATI Radeon X1550 series 512MB.
EDIT : Btw DOOM 3 is the scariest game you'll ever play. I recommend it.
Yeah your GFX is the bottleneck for the lag, even though it's 512MB Video Memory it's pretty old
I'm more of a PC player myself:
Call of Duty 4
Crysis if you can handle it
Bioshock etc

You went big on the CPU and the RAM, but crapped out on the graphics card?

You can get 2gb ram for next to nothing..

DDR 2GB is like, $100. DDR2 is way cheaper, yeah. But 2GB was still a big amount for games before STALKER and Crysis were released.
Should've gone with an X2 4200+ (save 20 bucks) and used the extra money for a Radeon X1950GT, the one I have. Probably has 2x the performance of the X1550 at around the same total amount paid for the system.

I also recommend assassin's creed. if you have a PS3, i read a review of Uncharted: Drakes Fortune somewhere that read, "If you own a PS3, you owe it to yourself to buy this game," which usually means it's a pretty goo game

Assassin's Creed is good, until you get near the end, at which point it sucks so bad you'll be tempted to toss your PS3 out the window. Drake's Fortune has piss-poor aiming, and I'm not even going to buy such crap.
Like the TC says, I just want my fucking Grand Theft Auto IV, fuck all of these Rockstar's ballsack-hanging no good shit games taking advantage of the delay. The next game I buy will be one that I'm already looking forward to (Orange Box/Devil May Cry 4/Metal Gear Solid 4).
The only currently available games I can recommend on PS3 are Heavenly Sword, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and Folklore (F.E.A.R./Oblivion/Prey are also good, but I already have those for PC).
