Ray Liotta in the San Andreas

I am not saying that it is official, since my friend at R* did not tell me this. I am just saying that it is possible.

Ray Liotta may appear in the next GTA, which at this point it is safe to say will be San Andreas. If you look back on the past 1 and a half years, you can find information leading to the conclusion that he may again star as the main character, or be a supporting character. If you remember, he was presented an award for his voicing Tommy Vercetti in Vice City, and in his speach he said "I look foreward to working with Rockstar on the next one."

I was thinking about that tonight, and a few other things. I will again say something that most people already know: on the original PSX GTA's, GTA1 was in the present, GTA:London was in the past, and GTA2 was in the future. Now with that in mind, and the fact that Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas were all original cities in GTA1, you can look at the PS2 versions of GTA, and predict what is next. GTA3 was in the present, Vice City was in the past, and wow, maybe San Andreas will be in the future.

Now back to Ray Liotta - after Vice city ending in the 1980's, it would be neat to find out where Tommy Vercetti is standing in 20 years. If Rockstar puts Tommy Vercetti as the lead again, voiced by Liotta, we can expect the storyline to be deep, telling us what happend in the 20 years since Vice City took place.

Again, this is not official, just another thought. Anyone else think this philosophy for a sequel is interesting?;)

i heard somewhere that tommy vercetti will be in San Andreas as the big fat mob boss and you have to kill him at the end. Personally, i think that whoever came up with that deserves to be shot. So i hardly think Ray Liotta will put on 170 pounds for a game

Yes, I do know someone at R*. I get about an email a week from him, that just tells me a little about internet rumors and some news.

He never said anything about the possibility of Ray Liotta's return, but I think it would be a little cool to play as Tommy Vercetti 20 years later, seeing where he is sitting.

We'll just have to wait until May 3rd (I think) for E3. That is the official news release date.

If Ray L. will be the in SA, he will probably be a boss, like Donald Love in both GTA3 and VC, only in reverse (Donald GTA3:important character VC:Not Tommy VC: important SA: could be supporting actor). It would be nice working for him, but nothing wrong w/desert surroundings: if it's future/present (50c soundtrack = SA >=present), the desert surrounding can be used to an advantage, esp. for mods (AREA 51 mod anyone?)+ new variatios of desert vehicles, like a new BF Inj/Sandking. More terrain types = more cars. If they include animals, who wouldn't want to go on a safari, mercilessly slaughtering desert foxes or smth w/a sniper rifle.

if Tommy is to appear in SA, he will be somebody important. if he doesn't appear, he will probably be mentioned on radios etc.

and i can't wait for E3 i'm getting all giddy just thinking about it cuz there's so much stuff that's gonna be expunged there.

well if it's set in vegas....vegas is in the desert....with a tiny ass river by it that's all. and a few lumps they call hills. i'd be so mad. if it's gonna be flat there had better be alot of water around somewhere, or even better the structure of 3 with the atmosphere of vice....perfect

SA is san fran, but there's also the title of "sin city" floating around which is based in vegas. i know wwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too much about damn near every game coming out this year

i believe it stands for electronic entertainment expo. it's like the largest video game expo in the world. and it is where most companies let out info on upcoming games. last e3 i went nuts when i heard about some of the stuff they had planned

Any1 saw the Vga awards?? Well his last words were "While am in vice city i rule and i can't wait to rule the next city thank you" So i guess he will be!!!! I bet he will be some old guy like salvator or tony in gta 3

Ray made Tommy one of the coolest game caracters of all time imho.

It's cool that Ray Liotta will play Tommy Vercetti because no one can speak as good as him for Tommy. Ray and Tommy just fit which is why I'm glad Ray will play Tommy.

So, why the hell do people keep saying he's going to be old, what if R* doesn't give a damn about how old "Tommy" will be. Even if he was old we wouldn't even play as him and he'd probably be a Fat Mob Boss which usually are old.
