In one of the trailers, I seen Altair use a crossbow but when I played the game he didn't have one. Whats up, do you unlock it later on in the game?

Crossbow has been replaced with throwing knives.

I don't think crossbows would really fit an assassin in the time of Jesus.

The events taken place in AC took place 1000 years after Jesus.
