Perpetual Motion (leftwards!)

New installation of GTA VC.
I'm suffering unstoppable motion from my character as soon as the game starts and from my mouse in the setup screens.
It's like I'm permanently walking to the left in-game.
Tried re-installing - no joy. Unplugged mouse - no joy.
What's up?
Can anybody help?

smash your keyboard. hit the button 'A' really hard and hit the left button '<-' really hard. they might just be jammed.

Keys are meant to pop out and pop back in fairly easily. Take a small knife or screwdriver and CAREFULLY pry out the left arrow and the D keys and try to clean out any junk that could be aplying some pressure. Then just pop the keys back in and you done!

P.S. If you screw up your keyboard please dont get mad at me but I've seen this being done many times. thanks! :)

yo piggus, if you made a mistake just edit your post... under your post there'll be edit / quote. hit edit then...well...edit your posts! Just to remind you if you didn't know.

Oh wait...I just remembered something. Sometimes when I used to play my gamecube ( which nobody probably ever plays anymore ;( ), sometimes my character would move forwards or backwards, without the controls messed up. And once I restarted, it was fixed! That could be apart of the problem if the keys are not messed up.

Guess so, i've never re-installed my game before...or have I...I dunno. Anyways I hope your problem gets fixed soon!
