Is it possible to save the replay.rep file in My Documents\Gta Vice City user Files to an .avi or similar file?
you need to have this thing called FRAPS...you can search for it in google.com and find the free demo version....
or you can buy the full version if you want.
in the demo version it says DEMO in big letters on the sides of the video and the video's are onyl like 10-15 sec. long, so i suggest buying the full version.
but other than that, you cant open that file and look at it, witch kinda sucks, so your only choice is to download FRAPS and use that...then you can use Windows Movie Maker ot edit the clips and add music.
hope that helps
I'm sure there will probably be other programs aside from FRAPS, but FRAPS is all i can find right now.

until then, you can just rename the .rep files and they should stay put without being overwritten.
when you do have the software just rename it back to the original one that gets played, and then record it.

you get fraps at www.fraps.com (duuh). If you get fraps 19D, set your resolution to 640 * 480 and record at 30FPS. you get good quality but huge files i.e. 7 secs for 100mb :(
