Help! Speeding Radio Stations!

Does anybody know why/Help me with the radio stations in me VC game keep speeding up? It sounds like the freakin chipmunks have invaded my game!

It happens usually a few minutes into the game and last as long as it pleases. Somtime it goes back to normal...sometimes not. It also affect the peds voices.

I have no mods installed.

Think your soundcards messed up. I've had sort of the same problem once...went away by itself.

Ya sounds bout right. Cheap bastard that I am though I'm loathe to buy a new one. Suppose I'll have to suck it up though.

Try installing the latest drivers for your sound card/chip.

Let's see... Did you install the radio station .adf files on your hard drive? If you did, make sure there are no errors on your drive. Also be sure to defrag your hard drive.

I' pretty sure there on my hard drive. Will it work if there not?
I've only just reacently defraged my drive ( last night ). Maybe that'll work.
I tend though to think it's the sound card. Other games like Morrowind and nascar racing 2003 I get alot of skiipping of the sound.

it has to be a sound card problem - try installing the latest drivers or upgrade your soundcard

I've treid. It says there are no updates on the drivers:(

if you're working in pounds, £100 is enough for a decent one. I think that's equal to about $150 but trade rates differ so i cant help if ur american.
