Alright, im relativly new to this. Counterstrike modding was sooo much easier! Ive set up the img tool and went to replace the bloodra.dff and the bloodra.txt. It give me the file size warning so i know i just have to delete the old files and add the new. Problem is when i try and delete the old files it says that they are in use.... i dont have vice city running, what program could possibly be using them? Any help would be really cool, thanks.

Remove the read-only from your GTa VC directory.

I still don get it.... what is read-only??? where can I find it.... it isn't in my GTA VC directory...

Read only is not a file, it's an option you get when you right click on a file and click properties, uncheck read-only and ok.
And instead of bumping this 4 year old thread, you could have made your own in the appropriate forum (http://www.gtagaming.com/forums/forumdisplay.php? f=253).
It is against the rules to necropost, meaning, no bumping/posting in a thread that hasn't been active for 2 WEEKS or more.
