Help- san andreas

Hi, i know this has probably been posted a million times already but i need an answer fast, i installed ONE car mod on san andreas and the game freezes half way on the loading screen. could this be because i am using that SAMI thing? i can't mod manually. thanks

Let us know the size of your gta_sa.exe. Is it 8.3 MB or 13.7 MB?

It's 8.30 MB

So, it's the 2nd edition of San Andreas, also unmoddable. You may use the downgrade patch (http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/file/GTA_SA_D owngrader_Patch;74661) to make it version 1.0 - on which you can use mods.

Most probably you won't have to. Apply the patch and run the game.
