HELP PLEASE!!! trying to make a mod work!!

ok i dl'ed a motorbike mod and i dont know what foulders to edit cos all they put in the notepad file was:

i dont know where to put the 2nd part where it say (191, pcj600 etc......) im pretty sure i put the (BIKE 1200.0. etc....) in handling.cfg and i know what to do with the img files... someone pls tell me what file i need to copy n paste the (191, pcj600 etc......) part in!! :confused: :confused: :confused:

Your right about the BIKE part, the second line is for the vehicles.ide, but the number at the start is wrong, because the numbers start at 401, here is the line from my Street Drag Racer ( same mod)...

461, pcj600, pcj600, bike, BIKE, PCJ600, bikes, motorbike, 5, 0, 0, 16, 0.72, 0.72, -1

oh, also the foulder came with this file: pcj600.txd

do i need to do something with it? when i open it all i see is a bunch of weird letters n stuff


w/ the img files ive got a .col file and in the gta3.img file theres no .col file under pcj600, theres only a .pff and .txd do i need to delete those ones and replace w/ the .pff and the .col files?? or replace the .dff with the new one and add the .col and leave the .txd file?

Open gta3.img and replace pcj600.dff and pcj600.txd with your new ones. The old .txd will be screwed up on your new .dff, so you have to use the new one. You can change carcols to whatever you want. And BE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR OLD FILES!
