Depends, Rockstar always put their trailers up for download, so it won't lag, just be painfully slow to download!

I just figured out the trailer will end at 8.00 AM Friday morning for me. Does this mean that will be the time the trailer uploads? or will I have to wait until 6.00 PM EST?

@Victim, I believe it will be 8am for you since it's 10am for us, sounds about right. Just check the countdown as it gets closer if you're not sure.
