"Things Will be Different" Games Tagline?

Hey, just checked my inbox, got e-mails from Rockstar advertising the GTA IV Trailer with an exact time, 6:00 PM EST on the 29th, and I noticed it has a tagline under the big IV in quotes saying "Things Will be Different", could this be the games tagline?

Wow, Rockstar are really doing a lot of marketing. The half - hour FX trailer countdown, this tagline and the big trailer countdown itself. I'm eager to see more.

Foiled yet again! I just looked at my inbox and there it was. I jumped back here to post but I'm too late, oh well.

Now I'm sure that it's going to be at 3:00 pm where I live. Before DST it was 3:00 pm too and I thought it would change to 4 but it didn't. I guess they still wanted it to show up at 6 pm EST.

I hope the trailer really kicks our asses with visual pleasure (as well as audio with a great song) and that things really will be different.

I know what you mean Phreak. It's got a feel, a something. I really hope they stick with that style, but at the same time show vast next - gen improvements.

Okay I've had some time to think about this, here goes:

GTA IV will become the Saints Row knockoff, Maybe not as far as the ghetto gangster theme, but character customization. You will be able to change body type, skin color, eye color, hair color/style, all the facials, etc. The main character will be a mute, like the last game to use Roman numerals in the title, GTA III. This will open the door for the MMO that Rockstar seems to so badly want. Mix in the new physics engine, up to date grahics, and there is your "difference".

If that's not it, then we are in for a HUGE surprise. :D

Ah :P What I feel is, locations, characters - all will be made whole new. No one/no location from past GTAs will be iterated.

I'm kinda nervous for it, like someone else said, I dont want GTA to change so much that it doesnt feel like GTA anymore...

I am dead against a mute character who is fully custom built... The stories have to coincide/reference each other.

Every one has a differant game , in mind , some think similar , but still everyone is differant.

MMO , RPG , 3rd person , 4th deminson , everthing has been mentioned.

We're taking this all too literally - we're thinking that R* are telling us that the game will be different. It's in quotes - it could be a quote from a character, a tagline from an in-game radio station, it could refer to the fact that the game is on a next-gen console, it could refer to the episodic content, it could be some story aspect of the game that we can't comprehend yet.

Think of the tagline for Matrix Revolutions: "everything that has a beginning, has an end" - it didn't mean that the Matrix franchise ended, it didn't mean that the Matrix universe stopped, it was just a character quote.

Let's do what R* do - think outside the box.

I have a feeling they are going to use more influences from GTA 2 such as the gang respect meter...or even the return of Claude Speed, or even time and city settings. But anyways, "Things Will Be Different." To be honest I dunt think GTA IV can actually redefine gaming as it did on the PS2. The major transition was taking a game with excellent gameplay but a lack of realism due to 2D graphics, and taking it to 3D. After that there had been sooo many different GTA copy cats and version of 3D GTA's it all feels the same. I think its just going to the next step with more realism. But the transition from Last Gen to current gen was not that great. However, GTA IV will be an excellent game and a must have for any gamers nonetheless.
