They decided they didn't want it in San Andreas during the alte stages, that's why they didn't have time to remove it. The whole Hot Coffe thing was down to the nudity and visual act seen on screen, as it was ERSB passed with the camera staying outside and hearing their voices. :)

Yeah i say its bullshit too. PatrickW modified the code if i remember correctly and basically the whole san andreas thing just got fucked from there on. Also wasn't R* fault if some 10 yr old downloads the mod so he can watch animated pixels have sex and jack his ramrod.

Sex isn't bad, I love Sex, look forward to doing it someday, but having Sex/Dating Sim in a game where you Kill people, work for mobsters (or ghetto friends in SA), steal cars and blow up stuff seems kind of odd and pointless. It's like putting a Pool Table mini-game in Metal Gear Solid!

The point I was trying to make is that having a sex minigame is pointless and stupid. If you want to see sex that bad download some porn, and if you want it that bad call an escort service or your girlfriend/boyfriend.

Anyway, I don't think so, unless they just go the Postal2 route and throw everything they can in. But because GTA is more popular, it'll have a hard time selling with content like that, due to instant AO ratings and being banned from many countries.

I don't see sex as an odd part of GTA since the games have always had prostitutes that you can pick up and pay them for sex. It went further than having sex with a prostitute by showing you what they are doing but the minigame was just stupid and boring. It doesn't really give someone a reason to come back and "do it" again. I would rather much do a race or play pool than have polygon sex because you can earn some money there.

Rockstar just made a stupid move by not removing in the first place rather than disable it for now and be forced to remove it anyway for a second edition of the game. I think they could have forseen the possibility of someone creating a mod to allow access to the game and then seeing some kind of outrage when it's existence was leaked out. Many people talk about GTA a lot but not just by it's fans but by anti-gaming jerks who did find out about the minigame.

I might as well add my thought on the girlfriend feature, the stoyline shouldn't have forced you to have 2 girlfriends and it should have been some little unknown extra like the prostitute thing that isn't necessary to do. I don't really pick up prostitutes but have done so out of curiosity and I would do the same thing with a girlfriend but I would later forget about it. I think it adds to the realism to the game because sex, drugs and money do make the world go 'round and 'round.

In that case it would require them to make new animations and do a bunch of recoding/retexturing.

I suppose you're right since there is a higher threshold for acceptable violence in media compared to how much nudity and sex is allowed. I doubt they will add such a minigame again mostly because of this fiasco. I too want to forget about hot coffee but I see something written about it once in a while.
