This was sent to a friend of mine on his myspace, looks legit.. in a.. part of artwork/unfinished piece sort of way.... duno what to make of it?
English guy... Looks a bit lock stock to me and the lettering in the background looks like its part of "carcer city"
London and Carcer city??! oh please no!

Looks fake to me. The 'IV' logo looks lo - res and the image doesn't look like a true GTA artwork.

Fake. Although it's similar to the style of vector used in the GTA artwork, it's not exact.
The inking and coloring style is not similar, the IV logo is low quality and "-Cer City" (cut-off of Carcer City) is noticeable at the top which is, according to GTAIII, located near Liberty City... not England.
It's well done, just not very good at mimicking GTA artwork.

Fake, why would they miss out the guy's legs just to put the logo there.
Hmm...nice efforts there though.
on a second note.. if it'll be london... i wont be buying it!

Yes you will be buying it. You're on a gtaforum which means you're a gta fan, which means no matter what's in the game, you'd still buy it. I don't really care where GTA IV will be but I'd be satisfied it it were in London.
and that is a fake. It's not GTA style.

Although it doesn't quite look like what we know as GTA artwork, this is GTAIV we're talking about which may have a new style to it. But I do agree it's probably fake.

that shouldn't be a problem because who actually sticks to the one side of the road

I didn't say R* sent it to him. he received that link on myspace from his friend...
either ways I think its still kinda legit looking, it looks unfinished, but it also looks like it could be something in the make.

i like the idea of Carcer city in a gta game it would expand on a city that we only got to see parts of in manhunt
and london would be a change from the us

It might be real actually, I mean, the GTAIV logo is different then GTAIII logo style witht eh shading, it might make a little sence the pictures now have some shading like that? If you would of seen the GTAIV logo, before it was official, I don't think, you'd believe it was it, cause of the shading and how it sticks out, not the GTA stlye.

One thing is style, another thing is quality. This picture lacks the latter.

Hmmm... I think a few people are missing the point about if it was set in London. London has an entirely different sense and idea of gangland culture. Chases, fights, weapons. Everything would be different. The emphasize on everything will have switched around and I think it will create a refreshing style of gameplay. While I enjoy just going around and blowing the hell out of things it's so much more fun when you're being chased and you nail that corner correctly or you pull off an amazing jump... I'd like more skilful things to do that will add excitement!

thats what I thought, looks good but not right/finished.... I hope Carcer and London aren't involved.
