Things are starting to rev up in these forums. There is a new section for GTA IV now! Yes, now I shall spread the love to all! *Places index and middle fingers on each side of head, begins to concentrate and then I begin to emit a blue and red colored aura.* The "Spread the Love" mission has been completed. Did you guys feel it or did I mess up?

What to do, what to do? Run around and frolic in the grass. Blow kisses, give hugs, eat chicken nuggets and urinate. I can't wait.

I'm thinking that a fact page should be made once the trailer is out and begin to weed out what is certain about the game. As time passes we should add updates to it.

Could be. I have high doubts he'll be in IV, I just can't see Rockstar putting him in another GTA. Atleast not so soon.

So CJ is coming back, maybe as a secondary character or quite possibly it will be Young Maylay himself who will have a song on the game.

This is probably where IMDB got their rumor of CJ in GTA IV from, but notice, in that quote he never really relates it to GTA IV.

Could just be an in-game song, who knows. But I wouldn't really want any old characters to be in game, maybe Tommy though as he hasn't made a cross - appearance yet.

That's what I've heard, and that's what I'd like. Maybe, some hints to other characters and a couple of connections, but I'd like to start fresh again :)

@ LM , same here , a cameo ...maybe. I think a fresh start sounds best , we had good guys in past games. Lets hope Rockstar will give us another Great star for the GTA series.To join with CJ , Tommy... an the rest. HURRAH !!!!!!!

Well, when I look at VC's text, I think of somewhere stylish and Sunny because of the colours and the font.

Look at IV, you see something modern and plain text.

Yes, totally agree with 5tatic on that front.
And with San Andreas it was thin and looked like someone had spray-painted it. Hence the gangster feel in the game.

I have no idea when I look at the font, because it looks modern, but also kinda classic to me. Although I'd prefer present time. A bit like GTA III. Modern, big city and all that. Now that I think of III, the font of that and IV look a little bit alike, so that might mean we'll see another modern city... I doubt if there's any hints by looking at the font, though.

GTAIII was modern time. Chances are this game will be and then the two games after (if they will exist) will be in the past.

The text style on the website seems very like a modern city,like new york or chicago. I hope its in modern, between 1990 and 2004 becuase I think a really modern GTA would not work.

A modern GTA was used for GTAIII and I think that worked pretty well, haha, I think I can see what you mean though, since GTA games after it used actual soundtrack and based on actual events but that means if they keep that and the research style then it could go upto 2006.

I think CJ will play a role in IV, just like Claude did in San Andreas. However, with the IMDB link and what is on Young Maylay's site, I think it will be more of a Woozie or Cesar type role that involves him more in the game than Claude was.

GTA IV isn't based on one sole city.

There are upto four cities, very unique. Possibly flight or boat trips need to be taken to get to one or more of them.

GTA IV will not be based in London.
Bully was based in London -like world, and this was regarded as the "next game", when Take Two made a press-release years ago.

I'm sure many of us are keen to know how you seem to know these things, Xeroer. I remember your "prophetic and cryptic" (<--slight exaggeration) comments prior to SA.

As for Bully, I thought that was more a New England setting, but I guess it did look a bit like some parts of London.

As for the setting time-wise I would say present day.

III was present day, and VC and SA explained a lot of events and put it into context.

They'll probably do that again.

I agree CJ was a good character and all but we need somebody new and we have never had a person from a different country before so i am anxious to find out how it will be i think it will rock ass!!!! :)

I know it says rumored but with this and what it says on young maylays site........i dont know, CJ could be making another appearance. I wouldn't like this however, bring on someone new!!

I highly doubt Darkel will make a return. For the very same reason he was omitted in GTA III, especially since the threat of terrorism has increased lately.
