What file do i need to edit to change the name of the car?
What program do i need to edit the file to change the name of the car?

I've got this problem.
Stinger- Is now Chevy Camaro SS
Infernus- Is now 2005 Ford Mustang
Bloodring Banger(B)- Is now a Dodge Viper
Packer- Is now Cadillac Escalade (already named)
Angel- Harley Davidson Chopper
Deluxo- Honda POS from FNF
Sabre Turbo- is Mustang Cobra GT500

I need to RENAME those cars.
any help is helpful

Edit american.gxt in the TEXT folder of your VC dir.

kodo, i really think that gxt editor needs to be changed.
that one occasionally corrupts the gxt files.

only use cyqs gxt editor 1.2, which is much closer to perfect. it doesnt have a lot of features or look nice, but id rather have a 100% working one than one that messes up my file. :)

I found that the gxt editor did not like my edited last entry, 'ZEBRA.'

And the game would freeze each time I'd get into the zebra, no unhandled exceptions, just freeze, and I would have restart my computer.

In the end, I had to change the string name from which the zebra cab read off to another string name, from the default.ide.
