Well my 360 went ka-blooey so I loaded up my old Xbox and put got and put San Andreas on.
I had previously complted the game on PS2, but had to restart on the Xbox
Wow - retro! It was weird after not playing for about a year or so, the memories came back!
Interesting to see a thriving community still going - hi all!

Yeah, that's what I love about GTA, you can always just pick up and start over again and it's hard to get tired of it doing it like that.

Especially with San Andreas. Having to earn back all your stats and such. Definetely brings back memories for me aswell.

jammsbro, i'm not a mod, but i'm telling you not to spam threads, unless there in the crap shack. it is a bannable offense.
on topic: i started SA when i got my new computer and had to start again. great fun, especially now that i dont have to put up with shitty textures and lag =D

I just recently started GTAIII and Vice again. Brings back good memories. Ive finished GTA III once and I'm up to the very last mission, tis a prick. And in Vice City I'm up to the mission where you have to save Love Fist from the limo blowing up.
I've finished San Andreas 4 times beleive it or not and its great to get back to the older GTA's. Vice City just feels like a movie in ways.

Bad man, long time no see. I remember you from a while back :p I think the whole memory thing will be more powerful when I play VCS. Returning to Vice City, but before the original story took place. Ahh, will be great. :)

I certainly gives a special feeling just to be thrown off at the start of SA. You barely recognize CJ, because he's thin and looks kinda like a kid.

Yeah, I love replaying the story after just free roaming/messing around for a long time, about as much the same as I love playing through a new GTA's story.

Amen to that. I can eBay all my games... but god forbid you ever sell a GTA game, especially SA!

after going retro and beating Vice City again im back to playing SA. MAN! whole different universe, i mean YOU CAN STRAIF NOW! seriously though if you play SA and then go back and play VC it really feels so incredibly different.
ahhh memories.
we should have a whole thread designated to memories.
