Although it's only considered a rumor at IMDB (unless someone can confirm from the trailer), what do you guys think of Vic's voice acting as heard in the trailer? Personally I love it. He doesn't sound gangster at all (thank god). Sounds like a Ray Liotta with darker skin. So if it is Ving Rhmaes voice acting for Vic, I say it's a perfect voice.

I've only seen (and heard) Ving Rhames in Pulp Fiction and the TV adverts for that recent remake of Kojak and I didn't think it sounded like Vic but it's been a while since I've clearly heard Ving's voice.

Doesn't matter if it's Ving or not, Vic's voice is great. :)

clanX-DMan: Please keep on topic. Even though your post makes a lot of sense (if you ignore the crap english and spelling), it's totally irrelevent to this thread. Thanks.

Vic's voice in the second trailer. When he says, "You know what, let's do it." at the very end. Does actually sound considerablly like Ving. Although I doubt it is. It does definatley seem odd.

I see what you're saying how it seems odd, I mean in Vice City Ray Liottas voice sounded slightly different than in movies I've seen him in.

My point exactly. Could be Ving. They could of also just swapped around some voices or added some random guys voice to the trailers so they can keep Ving a surprise. I remember in Vice City trailers Tommy didnt speak (even though the fact that your character spoke was a selling point for the game) just to keep Ray Liotta as a surprise.
Off-Topic: Actors dont nescessarily sound like themselves in games they do voice work for. Two examples:
1. Iv'e heard Young Maylay rap. He sounds like Snoop Dogg. But he dosnt sound like Snoop Dogg in the game. Although they probably have different voices.
2. Faruza Balk: Listen to her in The Water Boy. Then listen to her as Mercedes in Vice City. A very noticeable change there.

1. I never knew Vicky was Mercedes :P
2. You wouldn't know, since you weren't here June 2005 at the lastest, an online radio station, Social Crime Syndicate, interviewed Maylay in summer 2005 and he sounded exactly as he does in San Andreas.

Vic doesn't sound like Ving Rhymes but we won't know for sure until it's really confirmed.

A bit off topic, but my roomate told me that Micheal Clarke Duncan was on Conan the other night, and he said that he always carries around a stack of 5 $ bills, for when people see him in the street and call him by his actual name, instead of Ving Rhames. lol...

Ving Rhames has a deeper voice than Vic. I just watched a bit of Dawn Of The Dead for the comparison and its a big difference.

once again, i agree. until i see the cast for VCS, i'm going to stick with my opinion. ving rhames is not the voice for vic. and rockstar could have at least picked someone with a similar voice for lance in VCS. if you compare the the one from vice city and VCS, they are totally different!

What? Philip Michael Thomas is back as Lance. It's definately him.
Dorsey Wright FTW. All I know is it definatley isn't Ving.
