really like...well all of this
- The employees of your businesses can be recruited San Andreas style to provide protection and support to you on the streets.
- Notification about attacks on your businesses comes through the in game pager. Hiring more staff to protect your business means that they will stand a better chance of defending it on your behalf should it come under attack.
- Pedestrians on the street may comment on your success - Rockstar say it's all about having the people of Vice City (especially those close to you) recognise your power and control.

That could be some of the coolest stuff I have heard about the game. Empire Building sounds amazing!

This almost seems too in-depth, and too good. I like the idea of the golf game. It's original and it makes use of Leaf Links which wasn't used so much in VC, however I feel it may be similar to the basketball game of SA. Fun, yes. Particularly rewarding or replayable, not really.
Empire building looks great, ofcourse I hope like SA gang wars it won't get in the way of the free roaming/mucking around we all like to do. Also, I remember what a big deal they made about the gang control in SA and how tactical it was, when it just turned out to be "Wait here" or "Follow me" commands (still fun though).

Since when does the player see "people close to you" on the streets, unless they mean general gang members/employees of the businesses.

Youre right about Leaf Links, it wasnt utilised much in VC so playing there as a mini game will be pretty fun.
Hahaha! Lots of controversies happened earlier today regarding those infos and the webcam shots. You can see now, the gtapsp.com site has disabled all comments.

Anyways, someone hopefully will post better quality scans today.

Oh man, it's so cool that you can choose what kind of business you're setting up. Hiring employees and protection sounds cool, too. And if I've red (sp?) it correct, you can choose where you want to start a business. That's great!
And they're saying that Gonzalez is a new character. Wasn't he also seen in Vice City, where you had to kill him with that chainsaw at his penthouse?

I though it might be that Gonzales aswell, but it says he is a new character so I guess he will be.
Either the reporter havent played Vice City well or forgot about Gonzalez's appearance in there...or it could be really a new character.

Okay...This whole "Empire" thing, I really think it's a crock of shit. There's just no way.
But we'll have to see :)
If GTA4 doesnt include any of this i am gonna go nuts.
Vice City Stories is going to be the best of any GTA game under my impression

VCS is supposed to be a 'hold-over' game until GTA IV. They're really putting alot of time and effort into it. I say, bring it to the consoles and PC. It may not be as big as SA, but hell, this game is looking so awesome.

I sold my PSP because i wasn't expecting much of VCS. Now i wish i could have just stabbed myself that day.
But there might be no port or a port after or before GTA4

Wow, golf. That is what Leaf Links really needed in Vice City. It's perfect for VCS. And this whole Empire Building, these features are insane, and way better than what's been in some of the console games.

i dont believe that VCS is a hold over game, i think LCS was a hold over game. this seems like its a real addition to the GTA franchise.

Man, I read that thread - Insane. I do feel sorry for gamerzworld if he truely is the "victim" here. It's always interesting when some debarcle like this happens. :/ Neil always was a bit odd, ego wise.
