Are they going to be both working together. The reason I asked this because two years later Diaz sets up Victor to be killed.

Ya, as it seems from the trailer and a video on the official website, Vic will be taking orders from Diaz.

Should be quite interesting. Maybe they will have an argument that finally ends in 86

Weird is that, Diaz may not know Lance in all these 2 years.

Well he can't. Makes sense why Lance had to go undercover as Quentin. I thought it was just a little Parody of Miami Vice at the time. Maybe Vic mentions the name Lance to Diaz.

my feeling is that Lance never personally worked with Diaz it was all Vic, and plus Vic changed ALOT from 84-86.

Not nearly as much as Toni changed from 98 - 2001. But thats off-topic.

But yeah. It will be great to work with Ricardo without the ultimate goal of killing him. Maybe he will be less paranoid. Or become more paranoid as the storyline advances.

Diaz is bad ass though, kinda sucks you kill him so early in Vice (but he caps Vic so it's all fair in the end). Should be fun working for him, he was actually my favorite guy to work for in VC1.

I have a feeling we'll find out why Diaz set up Vic in 1986 in VCS.

^ That could be possible. Maybe there's a mission where you'll have to do something Diaz doesn't like. It wouldn't suprise me.

I noticed something about Diaz does he look a bit taller in the VCS than in Vc

By the looks of the trailer when Lance says "I'm your brother, you can trust me!"

Maybe that was at a point where Vic worked for Diaz and didn't want Lance to get involved.

Also, maybe Vic was stealing money from Diaz and thats why Diaz killed him.

Why would lance kill his brother when him and his brother controlled the drug business

I think Diaz just got greedy and saw an opportunity to grab both a consignment of drugs AND Mafia money. I'm interested to see what'll happen in the final cutscene though, in terms of foreshadowing what's to come. I'm really not expecting that the game will end just before Vice City begins, because the GTA games always let you keep playing after the storyline ends.

would it be wierd if r* decided for VCS not to follow the story line and vic kills Diaz, possible, but unlikely

yeah, it would be dumb, but I'd hate to know diaz would kill vic after completing the game
