View Full Version : Umberto voice in trailer?

In the trailer at around 0:23 it look like Umbertos Robina is siting or something when Vance comes in asking if he is a comedian with the gun in his face. His mouth doesn't move and answers no then laughs. When Umberto answers listin close. To me it doesnt sound like him in vice city or even later in the trailer at 0:47. To me the his no almost sound like Bert Reynolds! This has really been bothering me.

Danny Trejo (Umberto's Voice Actor) can be heard later in the trailer, the one at 23 seconds, A lot of people have said It sounds like Burt Reynolds and find it odd how Umberto doesn't seem to be moving in this part, Rockstar could be trying what Konami does and mask out characters in trailers so it doesn't give it away with them being in the game. Would be good to see Avery back (and alive) in the game with Burt behind as the Voice.

he calls him frank anyways the line is "are you a comedian frank!"
which is none of the charecters we've seen so far, but that is deffinantly Umberto robina that he points the gun at.

He said friend, not Frank. I think it is the same voice actor, Umberto just says what he said in a funny way but it does sound like Danny Trejo. He doesn't sound like Burt to me at all.
When he laughs and says no, he does sound LIKE Burt Reynolds, but later on it definitely IS Danny Trejo. They've both just got a deep gravelly voice, but in the later clip, it's mroe obvious it's Danny.

I'm with Ash_735 on this one. At about 46 seconds when he says "this is a real man, with a lot of balls" it's quite clearly Danny Trejo the original Umberto voice actor (at least I think it is). But it is odd that he sounds funny earlier in the trailer, is it possible that this could be a brother/father/cousin of Umberto who looks similar from the side?

It sort of Sounds like Burt Reynolds. Yet I still don't think it's him. No doubt Rockstar have put a voiceover to what Umberto actually says to try and hide a mysterious character (most likely Avery).
