View Full Version : New COD3 Pics!!!!
I found these new COD3 pics from the PS3 version of the game (although they both look the same), sadly there was no new information on the game but you can see the Polish soilders in one shot and how grass will look when its trampled, but i must say it looks great and i cant wait for its release.

I'm realling hating the bump mapping and effects used in this and many games.
You can also find a trailer for CoD3 around the internet. I have to get this game. Even if the graphics will bite catshit

Bad textures and the grass looks like shit. Models look good though.
But then again, its the gameplay that counts. Looks pretty good.
Textures look fine when you're not right up to them. They should have made use of "detail textures."
I personally cant wait for the new and improved Online gaming COD2 is good but only having 8 players in each game and the lack of vehicles and ranks lets it down.

I am almost positive those are the Wii screenshots. Because the 360 and PPS3 graphics are way better than that.
Yeah. Game graphics don't degrade over time do they?

Well, we have games like Resistance: Fall Of Man and Gran Turismo 5 supposedly looking like godly games, whereas CoD3's graphics don't seem to match the intensity of the other games. Just look at the grass. Looks like a current-gen game with added gloss.
We'll see, though. CoD3 is due out in a few months, I'm sure vast improvements will be made in that brief period of time.
It looks like a game from 2003 gone wrong.

Yeah, I kinda like the shading presented in CoD3, but in a way, also looks kinda ugly =\

to be honest the WW2 type games are really starting to bore me as their is way too many games based on it like the Medal of Honor series, Call of Duty series, Battlefield Series, and Now they are coming out with Company of Heros as well? The gameplay is great in all them its just the same theme over and over is what gets to you after a while. Call of Duty 3 looks decent tho.
But you could say that about most games today as all FPS involve running around and shooting crap, and very few have a completely original gameplay.

Yeah, the WW2 are getting a bit old, but are still good. I still play Medal of Honor: Pacific Assualt alot, and still love it.

There's a western FPS being released later for the PC. That's pretty original :P

Yeah its really going to get boring, the futuristic Battle Field game should spice things up in the fps world aswell as UT2007.

Thats what i said Olin, i never said i "i dont see what your post has to do with anything" i just thought SC misread my post and thought i was complaining about no FPS being original, so i was saying that if you look at it very few FPS are original.
And Blaxden i also cant wait for UT07 it looks great.
