idea for the tony hawk series

i was thinkin to myself today and wondered why havent they put any x games competitions in tony hawk before? activision was behind mtx mototrax and u worked to get to the x games in that game, but like there's a lot of skating events in the x games, so they could expand tony hawk a lot of they had that in it. like when u become pro and ur really good you get invited to compete in vert and vert best trick or somethin. the best trick could really take advantage of the 'nail the trick' feature they're putting in project 8, it would seriously make the game like so much better, instead of just regular no name competitions or small named ones like slam city jam (at least small compared to the x games), it could even make for a good storyline, working your way up to the x games and winning the gold, and since there are 2 different styles of skating, you could have 2 storylines, one for vert and one for street. i think that would be a really good game. your thoughts?

It would be neat, but it seems pretty similar to the story in THUG 1.

well the story in thug 1 was about startin out as a nobody and movin up to bein a successful pro.
with this, you would start out as either an am or a pro, idk yet, but then you compete in different events and perform huge stunts to get noticed so that you can get invited to the x games. so there would be a lot more competitions in the game, and if it wasnt a competition it wouldnt be the dumb goals that were in THUG 1 and 2 like "go find all my guest passes to the competition" or "drive my car around for no apparent reason", it would be more of the "skate this awesome line and beat my score" or "hit this huge gap and bust a mctwist over it". stuff like that so that every goal in the game not only works towards the storyline, but is also a lot of fun to do instead of just boring filler. I'd rather have 50 really good goals in the game than 190 mediocre ones. then when you finally get to the x games the goals there are insane so that the game is actually challenging. like having to get at least 1,000,000 in a competition in order to place. they should put the big air events into the game too, that would be freakin awesome
