What should Grand Theft Auto 4 (PC) have in it? (Let's go into the future a little bit.)

I myself think that GTA4PC should be located someplace realistic (not vice city, liberty city, although we do know where those are and what the real names are.)

Tommy Vercetti (still portrayed by Ray Liotta) expands his industry west. You should be able to go on certain islands and maybe even part of a continent. My thoughts are maybe someplace in Houston, Dallas, or Austin for the continent, and then at the end of those missions fly to Los Angeles for more missions, after that fly to Hawaii for those. That way you have all 3 islands (referring to VC and GTA3.)
(Beginning Cut-Scene)
As Tommy Vercetti leaves Vice City, he leaves all his fame and fortune to his Lawyer Slash Freak buddy. When he arrives in Houston Texas he shows up on spot of a hundred acres of farmlands, grassy Valleys, and Very Few Houses. He walks up to a house and asks the man "How far is it to Houston?" As the man, Portrayed by WWE's The Undertaker (mark calloway) replies, "Yer in Houston, just on the out-skirts right here though."
Then from there the missions begin, using Takers house as a start point.

All of the Cars will have Brand Names.
Dodge Viper instead of Banshee (GTA3)
Chevrolet Corvette/Camaro*i can't tell in this* instead of Banshee (VC)
Honda Civic instead of Blista Compacto (VC)
Harley Davidson instead of Freeway and Angel (VC)
Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki 600-900CC instead of PCJ600 (VC)
the list goes on but i'll make one more example.
Ford Escort/BMW 900*whatever* instead of Sentinel

It should have Named Places such as Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Macy's, Sears, have a BIG-5 instead of Ammu-Nation.

I'll make one last reference to Vice City, in that game you have what's called the Vercetti Estates. Makes 5000 a day, In GTA4 have the Playboy Mansion when in Los Angeles (Even though PB MSN is in Hollywood) and it makes 15000 a day. The Malibu is a dance club, call it like Planet Rock, or something of that sort. Have it so you can go in a lot of buildings, have it so you can Customize your cars. When the car is customized it's saved as a brand new style of car. (Only yours will show up on the streets though, just to make it more realistic) The game should have a Long Drag Racing Strip such as the one in Pomona CA, or Las Vegas NV. So you can start a Drag Racing career (Thus adding new cars such as Top Fuel Dragsters, and Funny Cars, Then pro-stock, and Pro-Bikes.

I'll end this message now, just figured to make my 3rd post on this site i might as well make it something that expresses how i feel about another game.

They will not be using Official car names as i they could probally not afford the license to use them. Its like Fifa and Pro Evo. Fifa have the license wheras Pro Evo doesnt.

take a look at many racing games. the car names are all messed up, especially on console games...

Well if they can't get licenced for all the cars, get at least one car licenced. Like a super car, Pagani Roadster or something. Maybe Dodge Viper, Lamborghini Diablo/Murcilano(correct spelling?) or even add the super Viper V-10 Dodge Tomahawk.
Add something specially for PC where you can skip all the bullshit, and just import cars. That way all you need is like maya or 3d studio max, and just create the new cars. Give them the current speeds, maxes, and Perhaps an idea, An In Car View, They have first person, but it's not the same without the Dashboard and steering and junk. Maybe add it to where you can customize your car with neon lights, lower the car/truck, raise the car/truck, and even change the engine. Imagine this, (I'd hate to say it) but add length to the front of the car, and drop a big ass .454 into a honda civic. That would be nice. Or maybe put a big viper V-10 into a VW Bug. Ideas can go on 4ever.

games like need for speed and gran turismo use brand name cars but it cost them a lot of cheese because its a brand name aka copyrighted. people know what the car is but just use the fake name to save money and not a lot of lawsuits. on vc they had suburu, honda, toyota, farrai,l ambargani*, and etc. but with fake names.

because theyre racing games. the sole purpose is to glorify the cars, their beauty and performance. i dont think the car companies like the cars being constantly crashed, shot at, and blown up :p

gta 4 is not vc. gta 4 is coming out after the san andreas(2004). san andreas and vice city were part from the first gta if you don't remember. they were stages from that game. gta 4 and gta 5 are gonna be way different than the vc and sa. vice city and san andreas were just a break from gta series, more like the time warp game.

ill be honest - i dont know what to expect. gamespot said 5 is next, and i think that makes kind of sense, but kind of not. same thing with gta london and vice. its almost just an extension.

so, if its going by the old scheme, it will be gta4 next.
but i really do not know.

if you really wanna know where i got the info, fish. i got it from ausgames and nobobysmiling board. a lot of sites say gta4 is next or gta 5 is next. but it won't make sense if the had vice city as number 4 and have gta 5 after sa, now wouldn't it!

dude, they announced it everywhere from gamespot thru the official game sites featuring all games(from regular nintendo thru ps2). i use to get newsweekly from yahoo on upcoming games and last year they even announced they're will be a san andreas and more gta series. just like all the final fantasies there stopping at 15 or 20. the fifth one is gonna be on ps3 in 2005.

When i see the box on the shelves at Best Buy, Then i'll know it was made. Until then, i can rumour, speculate, bullshit, and whine all I want until the game comes out.

Does the number matter?
GTA3... GTA:VC... GTA:4... GTA:5.... Eitherway they are all going to be the same kick ass game just different missions.

Well, since it'd cost a lot of money to get the cars licensed just to use names(That is, if they'll be able to get the licenses for any money), it's kinda pointless in my opinion. What I was trying to point out with my previous post, is that real car names won't affect the game one little bit, maybe the designs of the cars will be more accurate, but no other change at all.
