now provided R* dosnt fuck over the voice cast like what they did with LCS
i think Ving Rhames is a good choice to play Vic, however it wont make anysense that his voice went from being deep and brutal to two years later where he sounds like a dominican american putting on a cuban accent.
but i was watching Ving Rhames in IdleWild and hes perfect for an Ex Marine, going on his voice, not on his likeness since he dosnt look at all 28. but his voice could do no harm for Vic

I would rather him have a much more better voice, more of a 80's/Black voice, a voice that will suit the way he looks and acts. Unlike his old Voice....

MR T would be a good one...to realy gruff him out with out the pitty foo stuff though

why would he be a gangster in 1984, that would work in the early 90s or now but it wouldn't make sense then Gangsta rap didnt even come up until 1987. i think the idea of a gruff black guy would work better, maybe get the dude that played Kratos in god of war or somthing.

I don't know, I just want him to sound More the way he should sound, if he is a marine then he should have a tough and loud voice, but I don't think it would be Mr.T....

I'm sure Rockstar can afford someone amazing like Phil LaMarr or something. There hasn't been a convincing main character since Vice City to me. I mean Young Maylay (Carl Johnson) and Daniel Mastrogiorgio (Toni Cipriani) both had great voices that fit the characters, but through parts of the game, the acting seemed flat. I mean I know this is supposed to be a smaller game to hold us over for GTA, but... a good voice actor should play the main character, you know what I mean? :p
/end rant

Phil Lamarrs deep voice seems like hes mocking though, i cant take it seriously. but i guess it would be a good choice. and Young Maylay did a pretty good job in my book

Phil LaMarr is a professional voice actor; he can change the pitch of his voice with ease. I was only using him as an example. :p

Phil Lamarr does a few voices for Futurama such as Hermes Conrad and many others and he is a very talented voice over artist and has also does other animated shows.

LaMarr sounds good, he does look like he would suit Vic.
He was in Futurama, and Family Guy, right?

I was thinking Jamie Foxx too but I'm not sure if he'd do the best possible job for it. But its would be soo cool haveing both Tubbs fighting along side one another.
But when it comes down to it we all know Matt Damon would be the best for Vic. :p

All we can hope for is a great Voice to suit the character like the Old Vice City.

I just hope the voiceover fits his style. The guy who did Donald Love for GTA: LCS was terrible. A huge disappointment.

ya he made Donald a whiney little bitch. he was so cool in GTAIII! but if they really put their money into it they could probably get some one like Tay Diggs or Mekhi Phifer or Ving Rhames
I think Tyrese would be a pretty good choice.

I dunno, I did like him in four brothers, but he just doesnt seem right for Vic. Its a hard choice.

Na. I want another unknown actor. Rockstar have never gotten people to buy the game because of the cast of voice actors. They simply choose people who will do the best possible job. Chris "Young Maylay" Bellard was excellent for Carl but had anyone ever heard of him before "NO". Has he done anything since "NO" but he didnt stop San Andreas from being an Awesome game.

You have a point there Victim, I would too, would prefer some one who no one know's of. I don't wanna hear a familiar voice from movies, I wanna hear a new voice to give the charecter more of his own personality.

i sorta gotta disagree with you, one of the gimmicks they used to get people to buy Vice City was Ray Liotta, Dennis Hopper and Burt Reynolds, i remember being on EB games and it was talking about how they got big named actors to bridge the gap between movies and video games, however your absolutly right about Young Maylay

It has actually said by Sam Houser himself that they do not use Big Actors to get people to buy their games. Thats why they release the cast at such a late date.

ah yes, i believe your right, i remember him saying that right after he released that Young Maylay was doing the voice. well youll probably get your wish it will probably be some one who does it really well, sounds nothing like how he sounded in Vice City and will say really memorable quotes.

Well, the cast really wouldnt make me buy it/not buy it, but I am always impressed by Rockstar signing on people like Ray Liotta, Sam L Jackson, Peter Fonda, Burt Renolds, Frank Vincent, the list goes on. If the GTA cast was in a movie, it would be the biggest/best lineup ever.

Ohh even a 17years old boy from Norway like me love that show. To bad the show was replaced by that other superman-show or cancelled. Phil LaMarr is great for a candidate for the voice of Victor. Jamie Foxx please don`t bring that was-funny-once-for-a-long-time-ago-guy to do the voice for Vic.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje had been funny to have, but maybe his voice is not fittet for Vic.
