German magazine Play The Playstation has a few more details on Vice City Stories. Again we are still only seeing European and Australian magazines with previews, not one single American publication has received a preview yet, which is somewhat strange considering past GTA games' previews.
The magazine, which goes on sale August 18th, gives the following details:
• You will NOT be able to modify vehicles in the game
• The game will have the same outfit changing feature as Vice City and Liberty City Stories, you still won't be able to change individual garments as you did in San Andreas though.
• You can once again manually target the crosshairs on your gun for more accurate shooting
Thanks to German fan site GTAReactor.de for the news.
*UPDATE*:
It seems that this magazine may not have actually received a preview of the game, and what they've actually done is (poorly) translated information they've found on fan sites. The screens they have are blatantly stolen from a certain fan site, and also, they stupidly refer to Vic as 'Vic Lance' (*laughs*), not Vic Vance, as we all know is his real name, and that Lance is actually his brother.
Take this information as you will, but we reckon this magazine never received a preview, and as such, doesn't contain any factual information.
What are they saying here? Is it true all the facts are lies?

Well to be honest I hope the clothes system is like LCS, that had the best one in my opinion, the San Andreas one was good but too much and too boring. I prefered LCS because It was like Vice City's, Full Outfit already matched, also you could just press left or right to change outfit, quick, what you want, gets the job done.

You can only take anything that's printed with a pinch of salt , the only time you will know what the truth is the day its released and from then on all the details will spill out.

That's pretty dodgy, stealing from fansites, if that's what really happened. I have to agree with .:Clansman:. on this one, but it is fun imagining/speculating what it will be like from the tidbits we're given.

Me too I like the Clothes system in LCS the most also. IT was annoying in Vice City because you had to go from different spots to get your suite, plus when you die you end up abck in your Casual clothes.
SA is way annoying and takes way to long. I Also hope VCS is like LCS clothes system.
And as you all say, your all right, Like I usually say, we just have to wait and see.

I liked the VC and LCS clothing systems but i wouldnt go as far as saying they were better than SA. Sure it took ages and it got annoying but it just made it feel alot more real.
but then customising wot u wear is cool though

Hmm In Las Venturas there were alot of outdoor mall type of places with alot of food shops in one place but i understand what you mean completely.

For me, the problem with clothing in SA, was the absurd long time you had to go through to change your appearance.
If they simplyfied this, and made a mall where all the clothes shop are at the same spot, things would be easier.

Also I didn't really like the interior thing that every shop had to load and when you went to a house it had to load and then you had to load wardrope and then try each cloth seperately it toke too long.

Exactly. I liked the idea that you could change appearance. But since it took so long time to change it, i barely did.
If Rockstar will keep that feature in GTA4, i hope they make it faster. A lot faster.

I agree.
It's just much easier when they have the outfits all together. San Andreas was cool on how you can dress a certain way to your own style, but it would take a long time to switch an outfit.
I hope in GTA 4, you can save your outfit, so you don't have to go back and forth.

RockStar should make it so when you walk into the marker all of the avalible items come up catalogue style and when you select a shirt to buy then your charactor changes into it. I hated the fact that RockStar made it so CJ changed into every shirt you look at i mean we can all gether what it looks like without CJ having to change into it.

Tok like hours to buy the whole stock at all shops.
