A screen showing, Victor and Lance at the South Ocean Beach helipad, confirming the prescence of fully functional Mavericks in the game. (This helipad is where the hunter spawns in Vice City when you get 100%.)

Anyone know where this hotel is? I can't find it in Vice, and it looked immediately new the second I saw it.
Ya, this buidling looks brand new, much challenging to find its actual location in Vice City.

It is suggested that this is the Vance's Mansion. This is the house you got a hidden package from behind, it is close to the ocean, and has its own helipad. Note that also, early in "Vice City", Lance drops you off you in front of the Ocean View Hotel, and heads towards the mansion's direction.

I think you're right Phreak, during the intro movie in Vice City, their heli was coming from a direction as if, it flew off from the ocean beach.

Nice info phreak, good pointing that out, Can't exactly remember that place, it was a bit small right? BUT if Lance did live there during Vice City, that would explain why you could pick up a Hunter when you got 100%

It's not small, but also not near as big as the Vercetti Estate.
But wow, Ash, with what you just said, that could wrap up the fact that this is the mansion the Vances will soon occupy.

It looks a bit small to be a mansion. I'm guessing it's going to be the safe house in the beginning of the game. It is a nice looking place. Right by the water and kinda even tough to see when driving near.

Almost every house on Star Island is a mansion, but the Vercetti Estate is by far the largest. Well, this house here is roughly the size of those on Starfish Island, so in a way, it is a mansion. :P
Also, I doubt you'll get this house in the beginning. Remember, you start off very poor in a trailer park.
Nice looking pics abit blurry but the game look abit better then Liberty City Stories brighter and it brings back memories of Vice City. I cant wait.

I was thinking about getting myself reacquainted with the old surrounding but in fear of making the old islands stale and old again before VCS release i wont (caus i did that on LCS). So im gonna be abit edgy for the next couple of months but thank Jebus for caffeine.

That house looks more like the house you can buy as a safehouse near the golf course in Vice. In the scans it`s looks like it are an hotel or something. Maybe a gang-house? And the house goes for sale two years after?

I remember always wanting to buy that place early in VIce City. When i bought it, i was a bit disapointed, but i think it was a nice addition to VC after all.

Looks like two new buildings in VCS then , the blue leaves are put ther in purpose i think to hide details. :)

I liked going to the malibu clubgoing on a killing spree either with the mini gun (my favourite), tear gas or hand granades. That was how i killed time (and people) in vice city.

The only reference to homosexuals in the Malibu was the Village People parody on the stage , just another part of the 80's club atmosphere. :D

As i said later, this is the house near the golf course you can buy as safehouse in VC. But after seeing the scans better is the taller bulding near "The Chase"-mission start in VC. Almost where Tommy and Lance lured cops inside the garage to kill them and take their suits.

Well i found the building and you were'nt far off it , it is just a little more north than the Malibu Club on the right hand side....

I guess you were trying to point out this one below. This is of no match, by any reference, with the safehouse near the leaf links. References I was talking about are - Building Structure, positions of the traffic signals and formation of those palms.

After looking at these screens a few times It really makes me think how Vice City doesn't look anything like the real Miami on the original Vice city.
but on the new screens of vice city it really does look like a Miami, just like how Libertycity got more realistic in LCS then gta3.:)

I liked the Scarface feel of Vice City too and i hope Rock* put another great movie theme in this game.

well VC had that scarface story pefect tommy comes up workin for Diaz then kills him takes over his business and VCS so far has the fact that the main player will die 2 years after this game is based like how pacino dies in Scarface so their might be a reacurring theme in this game.

my guess is that they wont reveal too much about the new stuff that they've added too early, they might show some of the new buildings or acouple fo new weapons but i doubt we will see anythign about swimming, the hurricanes, the new rocket launcher or any of the new charecters until about a couple of weeks before its release. i hope that they invest a bit more money into this one, and get some big name actors back, iwas not at all impressed with the cast list from GTA: LCS
