Location of Trailer Park (which the Vance brothers reside in)

I've been thinking about this lately. After hearing the facts from the OP2MUK article on VCS, we learned that Vic and Lance grew up in a low-ncome family and you start the game off living in a trailer park.

The article takes a shot in the dark and wonders if a looming closure of the trailer park (Avery Carrington, anyone?) may be responsible for the misadventures of the plucky Vance brothers.

So from that, here's what I think. In Vice City there's an unfinished building, which you meet Carrington in his limo at the site of the construction to complete tasks for him. Perhaps that's where the trailer park is, and in Vice City Stories, Carrington buys out the property, demolishes it, and begins construction on the unfinished structure, as we know it in Vice City. No other place seems logical for a trailer park, not even Little Haiti, the dirtiest, poorest area of Vice City. So if you start out in the trailer park, that must mean you start the game on the eastern island of Vice City, as you did in the original Vice City (similar to how LCS followed the same path as GTA III; Portland - Stauton - Shoreside). I'll just assume right now the western island is some how blocked off for whatever purpose, as was in Vice City. With the ability to swim, however, you may be able gain access the western island anyway, but I'm sure a similar consequence to San Andreas' 4 wanted stars will occur. I'm going a little off topic, so let me get back on track.

The only other lot that would seem available for trailer parks is the building to the north of the Starfish Island entrance on the eastern island. However, assuming it is Avery Carrington causing a closure of the trailer park, a trailer park in that area would not be possible, because that building was not owned by Carrington in Vice City, but a rivalry, which you dropped bombs from an RC Helicopter in the "Demolition Man" mission in Vice City, to hault construction, and create destruction.

As if there's any other areas possible for the trailer park, what do you think?

I am sure that the trailer park is at the same place around the Chunder wheel, as I think there's enough space to make room for the trailer park.

Excellent thread on GTAForums, sucks to see how in depth they are about GTA than here. But I don't quite understand you. What lot did Avery own by the location of the Chunder Wheel as shown in your diagram. You pointed out the Chunder Wheel was on the beach, as it logically would, on a pier perhaps.

Tommy Vercetti is in jail, Diaz just arrived in 1984, so he may make an appearance. Perhaps we'll witness the construction of his massive mansion in VCS.

Mansion won't be accessible, at least not as a safe house. At the time, Diaz resides in the mansion, and will not be taken over in VCS. According to that first article in Australian Game Pro, you will have access to a mansion, or so they assumed, I'm guessing another one of the houses on Starfish Island.

The trailer park I believe will definitely be closed and demolished by Avery Carrington, so he can begin construction on his building.

Funny you say that, because R* do browse GTA fan forums for ideas. They also check magazines, int he UK we have "GamesMaster" and many of the ideas on their list were used in Vice City.

Could be coincidence, but I guess listening to fans will in the end win the day.

Yeah, the Mailbu gave the City a nice spot to Party. I hope there's at leats another club where you can dance agian... I found the dancing mini game kinda fun in SA.

You'll get mission contacts from the Film Studio again in VCS - that's already been told in the Mags. And yes, the movie posters are convincing enough that it could be built around 50's.

scarvice, Tommy will more than likely not be in this game in any way shape or form considering he was locked up during the time it takes place. He had just been released from prison at the beginning of VC. I hope that helps. :)

That's a nice idea, but I don't see how a trailer park could fit in with that area. What I mean is, that long strip of the island is more upscale than the second long one of course. That has the ghettos and such more than the other island strip.

The only possible place I can see them could be Phi's place seeing how it is a trailer park. They could of lived there before Phil.

Once agian, I may say it is possible to be in the soon to be (JunkYard) But it's on the west Island, plus I think the Area where the Theme park is gunna take place is a good spot.
