Hallo there everyone.
Sorry if this has been asked before but I am new here.
Is it possible to get the army after you, without it happening in a mission?
I mean.... the other night I was playing for about an hour... doing everything I could to try and get the army after me. I blew up cars, helicopters, killed innocent people, killed officers, killed SWAT members, EVERYTHING.. and they just didn't come at all.... it would not budge past 5 stars...
What am I doing wrong?

You can only get the army after you've 'unlocked' all the islands. You probably haven't opened the west one. So you can't get more wanted stars than 5. In the beginning, you aren't even able to have more than 4 stars. Then Starfish Island is open, 5 stars.
Just play a couple of more missions, until you can play the mission phnom phen 86. Than the last island is opened.

Alright, sounds good.
And that goes for GTA3 aswell?
And when you have unlocked all the islands.. how easy is it to get the army after yah?
Yes, same thing for GTA3.
You need armor and health and I'd take a Spaz too.
Run over a cop, 2 stars. Destroy a the cars that try to run you over, 3rd and 4th star. Destroy the chopper. Maybe two, and there's the 5th star. Get in a car, do some drive by's at the FBI cars. If you car explodes, take the Spaz. Kill like, 8 FBI guys for the 6th star, and get the hell out of there. SOme people find this difficult, some don't. Ofcourse try to drive over the sidewalks to run some peds over.

I have the 3rd island open.. but ain't really playing GTA 3 anymore, but I will try and get them on it tonight.

yeah Don Corleone's right you have to open up the whole of Vice City before you get the army after you, but once they do come after you look out!! And by the way as you can tell Don Corleone is a psycho with the spaz he loves it!!! :evil:
DId you know that the army in GTA3 has 3 weapons? M16, grenades and a pistol. The FBI has two, AK47 and a pistol.
It isn't so hard to get the army after you. Create some chaos, kill, destroy... Show them who's the boss in Vice City :evil2:

Yeah, show them whos boss and if your angry, show them how angry you are! ;) And always take the Spaz, like Rogier said, always a good weapon of choice. :D

Heh Heh, :D you boys love the spaz, perhaps you should start a thread about the spaz and who you use it on etc........ :D
It's just a good shotgun, Id say the best shotgun. It shoots eally fast. So the army guys have pretty much health. It takes a little time before they're dead with every other weapon. Exept with the Spaz

Exactly the point. :D My favorite guns in GTA3 are the Spaz and the M16A1, and in GTA: VC, its the M4A2 and the Spaz again. ;) So basically for everyone who plays GTA their weapon of choice is always going to be....yep you guessed it, the Spaz.
The Spaz is especially good if you have the quick reload abillity. you can shoot the whole gun without reloading
:violent: Be a bad boy. Spaz will do. Or throw Molotovs everywhere that normally works. Why are you so keen to get the army on you anyway?
When I was at the last island, The first thing I did was getting 6 wanted stars. I was wondering if the army was stronger than in GTA3. It's nice to discover the wanted level forces. I can understand him

just so you know, the army only goes after you when you complete the "sir, yes sir" mission for cortez.
I thought it was phnom Phen 89 (I probably wrote it wrong) Then the last island is opened

once i jus walkin around the army base and i see a cop run up to a army guy and hit him.

what kind was it? if it was a pig then no surprise. if its a regular cop then something weird mustve been going on.

it was those tanned shirt(VCPD) cops hitting those green greyish army guys at the base.
the cops run after the army men like there are criminals.
there are rumors that the army men are some sort of a gang or criminals.
the cops are idiots. They even attack security guards. Most types of people come up as gangs on the stats, like golfers. Not sure about the army though.
No, the army doesn't. The security guards shoot, so that's probably the reason that cops kill them.

its not a rumor. its a fact. the air base troops are actually the streetwannabe gang with the skin changed.
same thing with the pigs, who are a gang themselves. thats why the cops chase them.

One think I like about the Army is their the best competition when it comes to a gun fight.
