Now that we have some Pictures and a Box art for VCS and we even have some cool features for the game, What do you guys want that may be in the game?

Anything you can think of, weather it's New Planes, Cars, Boats, weapons or anything elce you can think of, give us your Ideas!


My VCS wishlist:

I would really like to have Hurricanes as a main weather affect.
We already know there's swimming, which I hope stays in the game.
I would like a few new weapons.
More Clothing.
New bikes like in San Andreas.
A jet plane maybe...with parashutes
I really want to have a Height limit as high as the one in San Andreas.
No border out in the water so you can keep flying out as long as you want like in San Andreas.
Awesome Radio Stations like in Vice City.
Jet pack agian.... Probally not... But a guy can dream...
Being able to command and recruit your gang members like in SA.
Crouching and Special attack moves like in SA.
More buildings and assets to buy.

That's all I have for now, what About you guys?

Why not? I thought that was a cool feature in GTA3 and VC on Xbox with the rain on the screen, but then agian that would be very annoying on the psp. You wouldn't be able to see....

Really I don't have anything to wish for in VCS. A PSP can handle only so much. Really it's next generation GTA titles I'll be able to dream with, although, my ideas never stop. There's an old thread of mine in the GTA Series forum with several paragraphs just on ideas for water-related elements. If I can write up several paragraphs on just one element of what makes a GTA game, I can write a book on ideas for each of those elements.

Cheat device won't be possible, even for those who haven't upgraded to the homebrewless version (2.6 I believe) assuming VCS will require a version update to whatever the lastest is at the time of its release.

But Coudln't Edison carter make a Mod where VCS thinks it's playing on a 2.7 firmware PSP and the game will still work on your 2.6 or lower so you can still use CD?

With out CD, the game won't be as awesome as it may turn out to be... oh well I don't know If I am gunna Update for VCS.

The droplets on the camera in the Xbox version were enjoyable, however for PS2 and PC the droplets were absolutely hideous. I can see why he wouldn't want droplets, at least not those like the ones you see in Vice City.

There is no way EC could do that, If you are still on 2.6, then the only way you could do it, is, to downgrade to 1.5 (can be done to 2.6) then use DevHook to emulate 2.71 or higher for VCS, Then use it to emulate 2.6 if you want the Cheat Device on LCS.

You can't if you are on a firmware past 2.0. On 1.5 (which by the way, If you can dowgrade too, I seriously reccommend it) you get a program called DEVhook, all you do is run that (from the memory stick icon) and you get a little menu with crap like Start (Start the UMD, the Game basically), Firmware (Can choose what Firmware to Emulate, goes upto 2.71 which is what most latest games require) and CPU Speed (you can run games at the full 333Mhz, Games are better, but Battery Drains faster).

Like how about being creative with the katana or an axe to cut off limbs. You probably did think of that but that's what I thought when I read your post. You didn't need the gore code for the PC version of game or at least for the later versions.

As for my wishlist I include everything soldier said plus:
-more ped reactions to anything in the environment. I would like to see drivers scurry around when they hear gunshots just like in SA.
-I want the police to also chase other people but not just on foot but in a car chase like in SA. This should also keep the good citizen bonus. It makes beating up people legit, kinda.
-I want peds to actually show up in the airport and enter planes/helicopters and fly away
-the same way that wind affected you when you were flying in SA should be in this game
-I want the gangs to be more aggressive as well as hacing more gangs

This is all that I can think of for now. These are all wishes and I know that everything probably won't go in but it still doesn't change what I wish was in the game, present, past or in the future. Some things may actually be added that I wished for.

maybe a little mini game called gore mode and it is essentially a rampage only you get heavy weapons such as rocket launchers and mini guns and you get to massacre anyone in the street.

- I want a flare gun
- More Realistic blood
- Dodo plane without clipped wings
- Little haiti should become a glitzy area before the haitians arrive. Maybe they could change its name aswell.
- Should also show the Haitians arriving and you have to work for them this time to help them have a start out in the city (however Little Haiti should remain Glitzy at the end of the game but should have someone say these guys are going to turn this place into hell or something)

I woul like the flying height restriction put higher like in SA , you could go well above the highest building. :)

Height restrictions wouldnt work in Vice City very well. Because to tell you the truth the city really wasnt that big. So it would probably take ages to get as high as possible anyway. It need to be about 3 quarters of the san andreas one.

climbing might very well feature somehow in Vice City Stories. How else are you supposed to climb onto boats when your in the water and how else are you supposed to get out of the water except for on Ocean Beach if theres no climbing.

Wonder if Tommy Vercettis mansion will be in the game. I hope there will be better graphics than the other Titles. I want Victor to actually communicate to people in the game just like the upcoming scarface game comming out. I want there to be more things to do when done with the hole story line like beach volleyball, stripclubs,shooting range, dance at the malibu if posible. I want Victor to be able to do anything that he wants like if you dont play the game for a while and leave it on he would have a mind of his own a go do something like have a drink or play pool.

Yeah, I wanna see Starfish Island being under construction and Prawn Island being upmarket.
Also, better boats. We have never had a great range in any GTA tbh. VCS could be a good vehicle for them.

I dont really want to see a game full of "new this" and "upgraded that" just a nice clean and polished title with few bugz i mean there's only so much my PSP can handle. But if i had to choose a few they would be..

1-swimming
2-better weather effects (hurricanes with lightning and thunder)
3-Better pedestrian models i suggested it in here before when i was known as Playa but i think if they used the same 30 or so skins they use in LCS but use the kind of customization found in san andreas just make them spawn with different shirts, haircuts, pants, body weight and facial hair then 30 peds turns into 100+ peds.
4-the return of some old charactors like tommy vercetti

I heard that VCS would be bigger than VC so i would like them to make that part of the story because they would need explain why it was missing in VC like maybe a flood destroyed it in a hurricane. I also would like to see as good a sound track as VC but hopefully theres some old school rap on there.

Dancing, It would be cool to dance as a mini game agian
Arcade systems playable agian
Roller Coaster
Better graphics then Original PS2 VC.
Faster loading times
No loading between Islands would be nice
A few new weapons
A Mansion

The Hurricane is almost definately going to be in one mission. Theres not enough disc space on UMD's to make them regular occuring things. A good idea for the mission is its just hit Vice City (the new island that appears in the game with the trailer park) Lance was last seen in the trailer park. You must drive through the hurricane to get to the trailer park and rescue the knocked unconcious Lance and escape with both characters in one piece.

Dont want dancing again. Didnt like it in San An.
Weve got the Chunder Wheel, so more rollercoasters might be possible.
Hopefully we do get better graphics on VCS, it seems to be going that way, and no loading between islands would be great.

I would just like to see a convincing story line i mean if VCS is bigger the VC how would that work? Also i would like to see the boats that were under water explorable (since you can swim) and maybe some more sunken boats and other treasures to find.

Vending Machines like in SA, so when your on a missions or you need health you can use one
Custom tracks agian, wouldn't seem right though with time line if you have now a days music...
Sharks in the water that actually can kill you..might not, probally wont happen
The return of the bach ball
Lots of wild life like in SA. Squid, fish, dolphins, more sharks, and more.
Being able to hunt down birds agian like in Vice City

Yeah the bach ball was fun, and it was handy having vending machines, and made it seem more real then having health pick ups. And it will be exciting to have wildlife agian. LCS HAD NO WILDLIFE WHAT SO EVER.

Anything but water ski's only because you can't just get on ski's and have just any body drive your around, but year your Ideas sound good.

That's what I was thinking for the Beach like life guards, but then there's no country to ride it on, just the sand...still a good Idea though... I hope the dirt bike's don't look so stupide like in Vice city. Sa had a more realistic Sanchez dirt bike.

You should be able to save pictures that you take from the camera like in SA. Saving pictures in the console versions was kind of pointless because you couldn't do anything with them, but in VCS if you can save pictures you can upload them to your computer. BTW i know you could take screenshots in GTAVC but could you save pictures in SA to your computer?

About the Quad Bike, theres a VCS screen of a lady on the beach, looking very much like a lifeguard, with a little floatation device. Thats a great idea, having the bike as their vehicle.

Theres has been a bit more info released about it:
'Phil Cassidy has been seen on the loading screens' and 'Water has been improved, so that waves and tides look realistic'.

Phil Cassidy is going to play a big part of the storyline. He will either be a buddy or an enemy. All we know that he was in the army, and Vic being a Marine and all there bound to know each other. Also I have thought about this and with LCS there were only 2 people on the loading screen, that being Sal and Vinnie (who both played massive parts in the game). They were very important characters to the game. So apparently VCS has better loading times than LCS so if there are only 2 people on the loading screens id say its going Lance and Phil. Just a little theory I have. Might aswell be wrong though.

I think seeing how both Phil and Vic are in the army they might work together also it seems that in every game Phil has been in he is a friend and helps you out so i dont think Rock* would change that now. Also i was thinking didn't Phil get kicked out of the Army? Maybe Vic will get kicked out with Phil and they will work together like tommy and phil in VC.

1.Better Voice actors than GTA LCS
2. a plethera of new weapons with new animations
3. Not falling off the bike so damn easily
4. a revamped fighting style(more Krav Maga, since hes a marine, less street)
5. shot gun drive bys would be so much cooler then the SMG's
6. more interaction with people (mugging, dancing, find information)
7. better blood
8. the whole "current events" that inturupt the radio stations and talk about what you've done
9. maybe even a reputation bar type thing. the more missions you do, the more everyone starts to recognize you. sorta like the Respect meter in SA but have it apply to the Peds as well.
