Hi Guys,

Just a heads-up to all you Aussies/Kiwis on this forum. I was lucky enough to get the world's first play session with the upcoming GTA title, Vice City Stories. The latest issue of my mag, Australian GamePro, has a huge feature in it about my experience and includes an interview with RockStar about the series. Vice City Stories - The Brothers Vance - That's right readers - not only was Australian GamePro the first in the world to play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, but we also got to put the hard questions to RockStar themselves in our world exclusive interview!

The game will a be failure if any character (who will die in the sequel) comes in the leading role. >.<

Well, who will die in the prequel, unless Lazlow returns not credited as himself, but with a different name, like you said in that other thread, Lazlow mentioned he'd only been in Vice City a few months, Vice City took place in 1986, making Vice City impossible to be a sequel, unless Rockstar messed up with this.

maybe you dont play as one of the Vances. You probably just find out what they did before VC took place. I dunno.

Heh, I didn't look at the cover long enough to notice him. He's on the box art as well, don't think it's the main character though, looks to me that guy's in his 40's at least, too old for lead character. I also looked even closer at that small thumbnail of the cover, right below the VCS logo I see "GTA IV: ???? ?????". Is there also articles about GTA IV? Chris, is there a larger image of the mag cover?

Hey guys. As some of you already know im australian and ill be looking out for this mag in the shops tomorow.

Edit: The Gta Place have a High resolution image of the cover and something to do with The Brothers Vance. Didnt fully understand the statement. It must mean Lance and Victor both play roles in the game. Dosnt mean there the main character though.

I still think it's the Vance Brothers, I read a article on it to.

I found this article of a member on GTAFORUMS, maybe I will Get that link for the article for everyone here.

The article was talking about the beggining of Vice City and how you may end up living the vance brothers old life.

I thought he said "we are in a strange town" not that he was new in town. If he did say he was new in town, he probably lied because he knew his way around pretty well.

My Thoughts: They have manages to Port the San Andreas system to PSP, combined it with the Vice System, took out some features, added others, Definetly worked on Realism this time around, Draw Distance is suppose to be a shit load better, Looks promising, Just hope the soundtrack will kick ass too!

To get to ride on a ferris wheel and rollercoasters. Jet Skies,Surfboards,Skateboards,Rollerskates,BMX bikes. The stealth fighter jet that would be awesome flying that thing more than just one tank.

Supposedly, the cars, bikes, and water have new physics. Can't wait to try them out. And it's cool they let you drive a jetski on the first mission :)

It sounds like we have quite the game here, folks. This "killer soundtrack" better be just that, because VC's was the best I've seen on any game.

Oh my god.. That sounds awesome.. The first mission sounded so fun :P. But the thing on the last page saying Lance asked Tommy if he could shoot off a helicopter.. Tommy said no didnt he? Anyway it sounds like we'll be saving Lance's ass most of the time.. I can't wait :P

Those screen shots from the scans look awesome! Vice City Stories looks to be even better than Vice City if thats possible. :) Makes me glad i own a PSP i haven't really used it much since Liberty Stories, i only bought it to play GTA games on it, so can't wait till october!

I was surprised to hear that Victor was chosen while I thought Lance would be most likely to be the main character. I did think Victor was a possible candidate for the main character but didn't really expect it to happen. It still has me excited about the game as much as the expected bigger map. I hope that's true as well as the other expected additions to the game. I just can't wait for this game, time to play some GTA.
