View Full Version : Good way to get FBI Ranchers without cheating

This is a good way to get FBI Ranchers without cheating and getting trimmed out by Vice Citys Law Enforcement. First get three stars then hit the roof of Hyman condo, police helicopter should be homing in trim out with RPG until you have five or six stars, then while on the roof stand over the garage that holds four vehicles it should open. FBI ranchers will crashing in there, then jump in your helicopter on the roof then fly through the stars at the ramp behinde sunshine auto's and then onto the drainaway in little haiti then the the star near haiti sparrow mission, then its back to Hyman condo down to the star outside then back to the roof change ya clothes. No stars and look what you have in your garage! :)
well it takes a moment to do it, but nice idea.

Good idea, but I'd rather do things the hard way. So I can have the feeling like I've earned it. :)

I find this is a good way because not only do you get FBI Ranchers, your criminal rateing and your media rateing go up! :)
for putting them in your garage?

No, for trimming out police helicopters on the roof top! to get your wanted level up so you can garage your law enforcement vehicles, i sometimes get the odd Crockett and Tubbs Cheetah in there.....:)
oooh yes helicopters do get your criminal raiting up.

Well, doing things the easy way is good but I rather do it much much harder so I get a challenge, but nice strategy to get the FBI Rancher. :)
I'd take the Spaz Shotgun and the Army and FBI are no match for me. The Spaz is so powerfull. I wait for a car to stop next to me, FBI guys get out of the car, shoot em to pieces and ride away cool. :cool:
A Spaz is really powerfull and also fun, because it's such a chaos when you shoot on the FBI and Army and a Spaz shoots really quick.

Yeah the SPAZ is cool, but it dosent put your head shot count up!! Heh Heh unlike the MP4.......:evil3:

Anyway, Taking a FBI rancher isn't that hard. To bad that the FBI washington doesn't chase you. I never take it.

Yeah i can't really see the point of the Fbi Washington, other than to do vigilante missons, I suppose its fast and can take alot of punishment, but you can't beat the Hunter for that. And i know taking a Fbi Rancher isn't hard but shakeing off the law is......

Jeez you think people would stay on topic...anyway Black Beauty, try using the 'Edit' button on the bottom right part of your posts, its ike right there...oh well you'll find it, just use it to add something to your posts.
@Rogier: Yeah, I agree, the FBI Washington does not chase you but you can find just north of the west island near the pizza place if you want it.

Staying on topic is a bit hard by this one. Someone says how to steel the FBI rancher and someone sais something like ok thanks for the tip. What more can you say to that?

BTW the FBI rancher isn't even nice to ride... I'd better take the Police Cheetah. (for some reason, that Cheetah can be resprayed at the Pay 'n Spray. Any other Police Vehicle can't)

Probably you can spray the Cheetah because its an undercover Vehicle.
p.s company is a haulage company & has blue trailers with big yellow writing on the side, get my drift? :)

Is there any other vehicle that can be resprayed? (police vehicle ofcourse) I've heard that the Hunter can be resprayed too.

I've never tried to respray the Hunter doe's it come out a different color? i know Crocketts & Tubbs Cheetah doe's...:)

Of course you can respray the Cheetah, you just can't respray the really big vehicles, like the Hunter.

Can you let me know if any of you have tried my strategy for getting FBI Ranchers or any other Law Enforcement vehicle. Did any one Manage to get a tank in there garage?? :)

I got the tank in my Sunshine Autos garage but it took up at least 3/4 (75%) of the garage, so the garage was just enough to fit the tank inside.
Also, I got the FBI Rancher just by getting a 5 Star wanted level and then when I hit a roadblock lined up with FBI Ranchers and FBI Agents, I take one Rancher and drive off :cool: .
Yeah it isn't that hard to steel a FBI car.... Press triangle or enter and hop in

Yeah, true, but I myself have the PS2 version so I don't really use cheats much anymore, and I have no mods to use, so if I'm lucky, the FBI Agents won't pop out their Mac-10s and blow up my new Rancher, if I'm lucky, though.
yep. Tires are getting popped than. But that is not worse. I've got a (brand) new FBI rancher than.
It's easier than stealing a FBI car in GTA3. Those FBi kill you in no time at all. (Let's not talk about the Army)

Yeah the FBI in GTA3 where mean dudes! four would get out of their car and kick your butt with AK47s. I believe they use MPG5s in Vice City haven't seen them use MAC10s not certain though, never hang around long enough to find out. :)
The army in Vice City is easy too. They have the same weapons as the FBI. In GTA3 the FBI has really powerfull AK47's, you were dead in a couple of seconds with four of those guys around you. But the army had M16, with 2 guys around you, you'll die in no time at all. not even a second. The Vice City's FBI is weak. Smame thing with the army

you say the FBI and the Army are weak in Vice City, if you have five or six stars lit up and your stranded in the middle of the street they soon make short work of you! :)
Not if it's me and my spaz..... I'll make short work of them, You can kill them so fast with the spaz... The army has the same weapons and the same health (I think) as the FBI. The only thing that makes the army a little harder is the Rhino that's driving around. Just make sure he doen't run you over, make him stand still so the army guys come out, and blow them to pieces.

The army at the Airbase carries M4 rifles. The army that you get with 6 stars carry MP5 sub machineguns. At the PS2 version... again

when they come after you they still carry m4s (MAYBE RUGER)
the fbi is the one who carries mp5s. they didnt change that from the ps2 version... :wink2:

the troops never carry the mp5s. they need more power - the m4. the mp5s are carried by the fbi agents that need more mobility. and the undercover cops in cheetahs have mac10s i believe.

Yes, they do pack Mac-10s actually. I got into a shoot out with the undercover cops once and they shot at me when I was behind a Banshee and I remember the sound of the weapon - a Mac -10.

the way i like to get a FBI rancher is to shoot the guys in it and take it to a pay 'n' spray or to one of my garages...that works and its fun to do

Try to get the Hunter without the Police outfit. It is possible. I've done it.

Yes i've taken the hunter without the police uniform too,I usually fly in to where the hunter is see if theres any soilders about quickly land and get in the hunter. Trouble is though sometimes the soilders are a little slow in spawning and suddenly appear when you're trying to land shooting you out of the sky!!! :angry:
I actually mean: Get the Hunter on foot without the police outfitt. You really need max health and armor for that, and infinite sprint

I think infinite sprint is a cheat, i cheated on my PS2 version, but i'm trying not to cheat on my PC version. :)
No, you can get it by completing 12 Paramedic levels

Darn, I never really finished any of the side-missions, I didn't know finishing the Paramedic missions gives you infinite sprint, though, I should try that.

Yeah cheating sucks, and all it doe's is put your criminal rating down, i think on my PS2 version it was minus 9000 something it took loads of vigilante missions to get it up again. I don't have cheat now i know most of the tricks and where all the weapons are located. :)
Reaching level 12 of paremedic is damn hard. I think it's the hardest R3 mission

It is hard, I'm only on the 3rd mission now. Not very far... but I don't think its the hardest, the hardest side-mission would be the Taxi mission, pick up 100 fares? Thats really hard...the Paramedic missions compared to the Taxi missions is a breeze.
Taxi missions is the easiest one. You don't have to pick up 100 fares in a row, you must pick a total of 100. doesn't matter howmany times you try it.

and i dont think the paramedic is very hard. just frustrating when someone runs over my last patient on the last level. :mad:
I had the same thing too brok. Or I run them over by myself. On the beach, when I drive too hard, and I must brake. You can slide away really far then

I like to do Paramedic missions on the beach, its fun seeing the ambulance bobbing up and down the sand hills near the water, but then when I pick up my patient, I slow down.
And doesn't the handbrake and the brake button work for all cars, not just the ambulance. :wtf:
Sometimes the Ambulance flips over. you can't see every hill on the beach somehow. That a bad thing

Sometimes the Ambulance flips over.it wont just suddenly flip. if you know how to drive well enough, you can get upright. you might be on two wheels for a while, but thats ok.
if the ambulance is on its side, you can actually just turn and get right back up! :D

Yeah I know how to get back up again, Only you do take o lot of damage then.
BTW I've never been on fire with a ambulance or a Firefighter. But If I'm not on a mission of it, I do get on fire. Does the health of those increases too?

The spaz is also good to mow down a whole bunch of people. Serious, not for the entertainment this time. Press L2 and R2 while shooting at a bunch of peds and they're dead in a second.
