When I was playing the mission 'The Job' again, I failed it because Phil died. I tried it again, and Cam died, but I could play on. No mission failed. The team is: Hilary King, Cam Jones, Phil Cassady, Ken Rosenberg and Tommy Vercetti. Only Ken, Tommy and Phil must suvive then? That's weird. Had this happend to anyone else?

I coulda sworn the team was only Hilary, Cam, and Phil, and Tommy was the leader, except Ken takes no part in the bank robbery, at least not that I know of since I never seen him in the mission except the beginning cutscene.
Yeah, Ken is somewhere else, Hilary get's shot, and Cam, Tommy and Phil survive. But not in my case. Cam is not supposed to die. And he did, no mission failed

Well, its kinda hard to save Cam if you want to, but even if you do save Cam, he gives you no missions, but when you get back to the lock-up Tommy and Phil have sympathy for Cam and thats about it, but no missions from him if you save him.

i didnt care for hilary, when he died, i said "ahaha fatty died"
heheheh I don't care ether. The mission reward will get higher if everybody dies!

Well, only if before you get money from the bank will you intend to kill your men then the mission is over but you can kill Cam and Hilary when you leave the bank if you want, just not Phil. Phil dies = Mission Over.
Sometimes when I cross the streat to the bank, Phil and Cam are going in a shoot out with the Haitians. Mission Failed. Or they die because a car runs them over..... I'm starting to hate that mission, Ive done it sooo many times.... :evil:
yes that guys are sometimes so dumb. They have to make that good in the next gta.
I know what you are talking about! Some guys are really that dumb that they just walk agains a wall, I have trouble with my Guards all the time
yes that's what i mean and my guards also walk against walls. Sometimes a car run them over and that's a waste of your money.
Those quards ARE a waste of money. They die real fast, low health
Anyway, You don't get a lower reward if Cam is killed, I did the mission a couple of days ago two times, with killing Cam and without.

Well, Cam and Hilary aren't a real priority in the mission, except Cam has to crack then safe the your done with him but Hilary almost taskes no part in the mission and pushes his luck wayy to far by getting shot by Vice City SWAT.
Also, yeah you guys are pretty much right, they have to improve the A.I. on the next GTA since the A.I. was pretty low in VC, but thats only because of the game's engine, you can't trust every game to be perfect, can you?
That's right. Vice City had so many upgrades, so it isn't worse that the AI is a little bad..... There are more things to do in Vice.
Indeed, what does Hillary do? He gets in the Taxi that you drive, and later he get shot by the swat and you have to drive away from there.... Useless guy..

Yeah, Hilary said he was going to cover you, but did he. No! And he didn't drive the crew to the bank, Tommy did, useless, I swear.

That's nice, but only the two Enforcers stand in my way. I never get busted by one of the SWAT guys. I think that they can't bust you, cause sometimes some swat guy walks near my door, and didn't bust me. (only in that mission ofcourse).

Nope, actually I got arrested by a SWAT guy (not in a mission) and he busted me when I tried to flee the scene after a devastatng shoot out, I did a mission before that though and had to redo it.

but i just used spas. :p
cam doesnt have to survive this mission. only phil does, since the game has more missions based on him later. you just use cams house for another hideout. kent paul and mercedes are there too.

I like to use the M4A1 rifle when trying to escape from the bank. :D ...its kinda fun actually. But not as fun as using any kind of shotgun, like the Stubby Shotgun, or the SPAZ. ;) Although I like to take out the SWAT vans first.
Stubby shotgun?! I've never used that shotgun before. That is the worsed gun in Vice IMO. I just drive right thru the Enforcers. That doesn't work all the time btw.

the stubby shotgun does the most damage per shot out of all the shotguns. i think it has medium spread. it also takes the longest to reload and ...cock :D

I had the Taxi Hydraulics on that mission. It helped me alot
