I was just wondering a bit.....
Does anyone of you know if there's a limit vigilante missions? I've done till level 703, I think maybe the limit is 1000. Does any one of you ever reached that level?

As far as I know, there is no limit.
That's sad, cause it would be fun to say to all you friend that you've reached the vigilante limit.:D. umm ectually not

No real limit, that side-mission just keeps going and going and going (like the Energizer battery commercial) doesn't matter what number you get up to, but you can try reaching 1000 and see if thats the limit.

Probably less than 2000...may take someone a while to get up to 2000, though.

This is no Bull s#!T, i can't remember where i saw this pic but i saw someone get upto about level 1987 or somnething like that.
I couldn't believe it when I first saw it. I'll look around see if I can find it.

Anyway, it took me like 6 hours to get to level 703. So that guy did played like 17 hours. with some brakes, maybe 18 hours. That's a lot!

Yeah, we all do, then we could buy all the video games we wanted and maybe even give some to Rockstar so they could put some more funding into GTA4 and set a quicker release date for the game, then I'd be happy.

Alot!:D The only thing is that my money still lowers when I buy something. But I got way more than $999.999.999, But this is all the money you can get,so it isn't infinite.

Ok. But I belive it, It isn't hard to do, it only takes a lot of time. I just stopped because I didn't saw the use of it anymore. My criminal rating didn't raises anymore, no more money......

criminal rating or media attention? your criminal rating should always rise unless you cheat.

I'm still working on my criminal rating and my highest media attention as well, I think my highest media attention is Vice Courier Page 4. I figured I would have gotten VCN or something.
To get a higher media attention, you just have to rampage with the tank. My criminal rating does raise, only very slow. 12 points per level. But when I did it the first time, it went like 1000 points per level. So, i better destroy some choppers. I never cheat btw.

Well, who would want to cheat anyway, especially on ratings? Not me, obviously, not even Kodo or Zidane cheat, I'm pretty sure.

cheating is only for replay value. its not for initial play :p
Somehow, the first time that I've played Vice City, I did used cheats. But thats over now, I never cheat again :wink2:
the first time i played Vice City i did the missions with cheats and that's boring.

Thats why people shouldn't use cheats, it makes the game boring.
There's no challenge with cheats. If your health is low, why don't you cheat?
Good that R* didn't put any Stat0-cheats in it. Like Criminal rating + 10,000. hehe would be kinda fun too
yes, but than everyone can say that they have a high criminal rating and that they have done it by themselves
That's what I'm talking about. Those 'stat-cheats' would be sooooo unfair. Everyone could say that they have done this, or something else. 'Whooow man, how did you get that criminal rating?' 'cheats'
but some cheats are really funny and sometimes you use them

Yeah funny cheats are ok but not cheats that affect your gameplay and stats list like the Health and Armor cheat for example, if you use those cheats instead of using the icons, that affects the game but other cheats like the funny ones dont affect your stats list except maybe the criminal rating.

Yeah, that cheat is cool but I use it rarely but you can't exit the car when its on the water or you drown to your death.
Use the Cars float on water and the Hydraulics cheat. You can jump out of the water looks good, those wheels getting straight again and when you land, they're back to hoverwheels

There are some more cheats like Media Level Meter and Robocops, What does that do? I've tried that ones a couple of times, and nothing happend

I once saw a pic of a guy that reached Vigilante mission 665. My record was something like 17, and I though 'whooow I never gonna make it to that level!!!' and I did, btw the guy said that it was the world record, don't believe him.
Does this happend to you guys? The first time when I played the Vigilante, my Criminal rating (CR) went up like 2000 per level. When I go on Vigilante now, my CR goes up 12 points per level. 1 point per criminal, and that's not much... I thought Vigilante was really good for CR? It did before, but not anymore. That sucks, Cause I want to have a really high CR, like 500.000, I've got 310.000 right now, does anyone have a tip or something?

each time you get money your rating rises too.
so technically, the rating should rise faster and faster as you kill more criminals and get more money for it :)

media attention - the meter comes up when you have 2 or more stars on you. i have no idea what robocop youre talking about. maybe its fake.

Hes talking about a Robocops Cheat, I don't know what it does but its a wierd cheat, nothing really happpens, anyway because I checked it out myself and nothing happens at all when inputing the cheat into the game.

Turn the cops into Robocops, like the movies maybe?
CR doesn't rises when you kill a ped or a cop. Definetly not when you kill a cop, After a while it will even go down. Destroying choppers gives you 30 points, wich is quite alot. Put a chopper in the left garage at the Hyman Condo and start shooting. You can put four choppers in. so that's 120 points per 3 seconds, If you do it with a tank

Well, at least all that hard work gives you something to do, since theres not really much to do in VC anymore.
No, they don't disappear in the PS2 I think. Unless they bump out of the garage in a explosion. They only can disappear like that, when it's allready blown up.

3 choppers is good too. Uselly when I shoot, the Tank drives a little backwards, good enough to close the garage. I probably hit 2 or 3 chopper anyway. The 4th is just for the feeling to got 120 per shot

yeah, but a less tedious way is just to cheat. when youre using the garage trick its essentially the same thing, so i dont see how using codes is any worse :o
It's not cheating, It's just using a feature of the game :D

youre using an exploit. if the garages didnt repair blown up cars, then youd have a much harder time :wink2:

No it's not a rumor. I think I said some thing wrong. The hunter don't becomes damage proof like much people think. Every Level that you go up, the hunter receives a little more health. If you're on fire, and you complete a level, your not on fire anymore. So if your at level 100 or something, The Hunter has incredebly much health. So I mean that you can fire lots of rockets at the Hunter when you've reached level 100

why would i do that now?

Will the 'health' of the Hunter be saved too? Or does it swichtes back to the normal damage?

Well its not a rumor. When I flew the Hunter once, I cought fire. then I quickly completed a level and I just have some white smoke.
