I've got a pretty old motherboard... memory runs at 166 MHz, that's how old it is. Anyways, I dont know much about memory, so would plugging in some PC3200 sticks be bad for the mobo or memory? If i mix them with a pc2700 stick that's already in there, would that be problematic?

If you mix in PC3200 and PC2700, both sticks will run at the lower memory speed, in this case, PC2700. All memory is made to be backwards compatible, so it shouldn't give you a problem.

The memory speed is limited by the FSB. My FSB is 533mhz and I can only run pc2700....or maybe it's 3200...crap I forget. Doesn't matter though, I only have dual channel 2700 sticks in right now anyways.
