Any suggestions? After selling this Dell piece of shit, I'll probably get this, with some hope.

Edit: Better video card, X1800XT 256MB. Price also goes up to $930...
Edit 2: Updated the GPU again, this time to a eVGA Superclocked 7900GT KO. Price also goes up to $952...

haha, ur Dells probly beat my piece of shit
(made by a company called mode computers)
dunno what kind of mother board, i'm guessing a shit one
intel pentium4 2.4ghz CPU
512mb DDR RAM
120gb hard drive (dunno what speed, again most likely a shit one)
GeForce MX440 64mb

i'd say the most expensive part of this computer is the keyboard (i bought that myself)

so there you have it. if your computers even gayer than mine, your in my prayers lol

How much you think a computer similer to this would be on the market?

$900-$1000, I suppose? Customs are generally cheaper than prebuilt rigs.

So, on with the suggestions!

Bigger HDD would be good (y)

PS you're a mug for buying Windows

Alright, I improved the video card to a Sapphire Radeon X1800XT 256MB. Huge improvement over 7600GT, I expect.

I already have an external 40GB, so in total, I'll be having 120GB of space to work with, probably more than enough to last me until next year, when I get an additional hard drive (probably 250GB-320GB) for storage.

I can hold off on "obtaining" Windows in any other fashion except buying for a bit. ;)
It took me 3 days last time to successfully crack XP. But, no more into that.

Anything else?

personally i would go with a sata HD. not sure if there's any actual difference in performance (maybe raid if it goes fast enough), but the cables are smaller and it looks like your psu has connectors, why waste them? And you forgot theres a 30 dollar rebate on the 1800 (i would know im getting one soon too ;)). otherwise not bad.
as for windows, if you can find an official microsoft store somehwere near, they sell microsoft stuff for realll cheap. or you can download the Vista beta and use that till june 2007....

Editted again. I've got a better video card that takes up less space, the eVGA GeForce 7600GT KO (superclocked). For the price, it looks wonderful, and seems to be capable of playing Oblivion at relatively high settings. It has 24 pixel pipelines, and blazing speeds, when compared to the X1800XT with only 16 pixel pipelines. Additionally, it bears the 79xx tag, which simply makes me feel good inside :P

Power consumption is lower, has better performance, the only downside may be is that it can't play HDR and AA both at the same time, which is a sucker.

@billyboy_999: Don't you need XP to upgrade to Vista? I don't think they give out copies that can be used on brand new computers without XP as their operating system. I dunno, I gotta ask Rhyme.
