View Full Version : Eminem: "Has Gun, Will Travel"

Eminem will be making his return to the big screen as a bounty hunter in a movie remake of the 1950s TV series "Have Gun--Will Travel".

According to Daily Variety, the remake which will be released by Paramount Pictures, will have characters and story points loosely based on the ones from the series.

There is also a possibility that the film will be shot in Eminem's hometown of Detroit and will feature a soundtrack or scoring by the Grammy winning rapper.

Interscope/Shady/Aftermath Films will produce the film, with credits going to Jimmy Iovine and Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg. No production dates or other details were given at press time, but the aforementioned producers and Paramount Pictures are trying to get it on the fast track.

In related news, Eminem's protégé, Obie Trice, is gearing up for the release of his sophomore album Second Round's On Me, scheduled to hit stores later this summer. The album reportedly features appearances from Eminem, Trick Trick, 50 Cent, Nate Dogg and Trey Songz.

Em, Alchemist, Fredwreck, JR Rotem and 9th Wonder are some of the producers on the project.

You're right, 8 Mile was good. I haven't seen it in a while though - but I'm likely to go and see this.

Eminem is a good actor. Not every rapper is bad at acting apart from cough50centcough. 8 Mile owned.


I might watch this. Eminem as a bounty hunter sounds good but I've never imagined him as a killer though.

Meh. We can't say he's a good actor if he's only done one movie

and personally I'd say Em and 50 both did a great job of playing their roles in their movies

Maybe Eminem will kill the motherfucker who killed Proof in the movie. And yeah, we can say Em is a good actor if he was in only one movie so far. He was practically in every scene in 8 Mile.

Eminem did an excellent job in 8 mile. Especially for a first movie, and without any actor education.
50 in the other hand didnt in my opinion. He has like 2 face expressions.

i like the idea of Eminem as a bounty hunter. I will definately check it out.

Proof drew his gun, first. You can't blame him for getting shot, it was in self-defense.
